Courtney: "I lie on my bed, about to fall a sleep, then theres this loud creek in front of my new bedroom door. I figure it was one of my parents coming to check on me so I just open the door. To my surprise nothing was there. But the thing is I saw my shadow when all the lights were out. My windows blinds were closed. I was to tired too think, I closed my door again, went into the bed and fell a sleep thinking. Thinking about lots of stuff."
"The next morning, I told my family about last night. They didn't believe me one bit. My mom wasn't listening, my dad said that's pathetic, and my twin brother, Jason, said you were just dreaming. I really wanted to investigate this. As you should know, I love solving mysteries.
"Here, let me start from the beginning. My family just moved to a new house far far away from my old house. But the best news of all time is that I'm moved right next to my old best friend! Anyway, after we moved we got settled in and found some really old stuff that we could sell for good money. The thing is, everybody in the neighborhood has been telling us not to sell a thing. That was really strange. Sometimes I feel like everybody has two shadows."
Shadow: "Hey, did you know that there are new people living in my home. I own this place. I really didn't think anybody would want to move here."
"When I went to visit my house, I felt something different. I didn't think this day would come. I heard a teenage girl was living here so I figured to go to here room first. I thought that she would be sleeping, then a loud creek must have woken here up. That's what I don't like about not living. You can still touch and feel things."
"Let me tell you everything from the beginning. I was sleeping and I heard a knock at my door, since I was the only one up,I opened up the door and the next thing I see I blood. All blood."
"Since being a ghost, I decided to roam my home town and my home town only. I lived here all my life. I just hope no one finds out about my history and that I live here as a ghost."
Courtney: "That same day, I went over to my best friends house. I haven't seen her in a long long time. When I got there, there were cookies made and milk in a cup. When I went inside Jasmine ( my best friend ) said I just made these cookies for me and you. That was funny because I remember she said that she does not like to cook and that she is really bad at it too."
"I thought you don't like to cook?"
" Uh, umm, I just learned how to make cookies. I wanted you to be my taste tester."
"Oh, ok I had a bite and they blew my mind how good they tasted."
"We went to her room and talked. I told her about my shadow first. She started asking all of these questions and wrote everything that I had said down. It seemed like she wanted me to keep talking about anything weird that had happened so far on living here. I kept telling her that there was nothing else. Then I remembered about the old stuff that we were going to sell. Again she started asking all these detailed questions. Something was definitely up. When I got home something felt wrong. I was getting all dizzy and queasy, I wake up in the hospital with my family just starting at me. The doctors tell me I was poisoned by something I ate. It had to be that cookie. But why would Jasmine do anything to hurt me?"
Shadow: "I found out that there was a best friend near by. I decided to go into her body first. I had made cookies and a added a little bit of poison. I wanted to get rid of anybody that lived in my house. I would do anything to stop anybody. I have been going into everybody's body to tell the Gordon family stop trying selling my precious and important stuff."
"I really thought I would get a lot more information out of Courtney. I need to know as much stuff as possible to stop them from finding my real identity."
"The following night, I go into Jason's bedroom. I almost wake him up as I look at his details so I know how he looks going around the town. I really don't want to wake him up and turn into a shadow again. Why did I have to choose to be a shadow and not a normal ghost. Now it's time for me to poison the cereal that Jason eats. He is always the smart one so I hope he doesn't find anything suspicious."
Courtney:" Right after I leave, I get a phone call from Jasmine asking if she wanted me to come to her house. Now this was weird. I had got to start investigating."
"I just went to your house. Plus I have to do something really important."
"You did?, when?, I don't remember a thing about you being here."
"Ha!, yeah right. Its not like someone else replaced you or something."
"I think somebody did I feel different and I heard you were in the hospital."
"Yeah, the doctor said I was poisoned by something I had eaten."
"Oh my Gosh, are you Ok?!''
"Yeah, I guess I should be going now"
"Yeah, ok bye"
"Ok, now I have start investigating."
Shadow: "I think something wrong just happened to plan. I never even thought about the out come of it. I hope Courtney doesn't investigate this stuff. I have been ease dropping just a little and she was talking to Jasmine. I think she found out something strange. Really strange."
Courtney: "Ok, time to find out what is wrong with everybody all of a sudden. I'll go around telling people I'm going to sell a few things that I found. I'm not just doing that because I really am but also to see if they will say not to... again.
I told a few neighbors and one or two of them encouraged me to sell the items. "Hi, I just came by to see if you are interested in buying the stuff that I'm selling. Just you letting you know if you changed your mind."
"Change my mind about what?"
"A couple days ago, you said that you didn't want me to sell a thing."
"No I didn't. You didn't even mention a thing about selling stuff."
"Oh, ok. It was probably some one else. I should be going now."
