Kat's P.O.V.
"Katia Purrson?"
"It's Kat," I answered, quite unenthusiastic. I dreaded being awake this early, I'd much rather be in my room drinking tea and watching live streams. School is the inescapable conundrum that's forced on us for years on end.
"Brian Fyre?"
"It's Alex," He replied rather saltily. I dropped my head on the table, aimed to my right, staring at him. Alex. PyreticFyre. A close friend and favorite streamer. He hasn't been talking to much to me lately. Ever since he got a girlfriend, it's like only her and streaming exist to him.
"Okay. Get in groups of two and we'll be doing scenes from Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. Grab a blue book ...." I zoned out the teacher about halfway through his statement, doing nothing but staring at the boy besides me. I wonder what's going through the his head.
"Kat!" My head shoots up as my textbook is dropped o my desk.
"Stop making your gushy eyes at Alex and open up that textbook," I looked at my teacher, him knowing fair well that I wasn't straight and had no feelings for the guy. He was... just cool to be around I guess. I opened the book, forcing my head behind the pages and crushing my connection from the world.
