Chapter 11

Chapter 11 - Aaron

When Reese left, Kawaii-Chan finally lets me go back home. It felt like the heavens were singing once I flopped onto my bed. I thanked the lord that I could finally go back to sleep! That is, until, my door opened. I groaned and looked up from my pillow, "What do you want?"

Zane took a step back, surprised, "Excuse me? What do I want? I want to know why you shut the door on my face at Kawaii-Chan's." I could see why he was mad... that was pretty rude of me. But right now I didn't really care. all I wanted was sleep.

I let out a huff of annoyance, "Why were you even there?"

"Why were you there?" He threw back the question while crossing his arms.

"Because Kawaii-Chan just had to call me at 3 o'clock this morning and make me do this 'plan' of hers!" I yelled back, not caring if anyone could hear.

"Oh really now, is that a reason to throw the door on my face?!" Zane snapped back.

"With your attitude, another door can be slammed in your face if you want!" I argued. All I wanted was to sleep so why was I yelling like this! Goodness, why can't he just leave me alone!

My door creaked open showing Aphmau and Katelyn in the doorway. "Woah," Katelyn spoke, "Calm down you two, we don't want to alarm the neighbors." I glared at both of them, trying to make them go away but they wouldn't budge. 'This is so not like me. I guess I should really go to sleep if I act like this.' With that, I complain under my breath and lay back down, shutting my eyes.

"(Y/n) why are you going to sleep? It's 5 in the afternoon," Aphmau questioned me while looking at the clock in my room.

"I don't know, why don't you ask Kawaii-Chan. You're the one who gave her my number," I huffed, turning on my side so they couldn't see me.

"Yeah, she said she needed it for... secret reasons, so I gave it to her. Is that a problem?"

"It's a problem when she nonstop calls me at 3 in the morning expecting me to be over there by 3:30."

Aphmau sighs, "Do you know how to work a phone? There's a thing called putting your phone on silent." I look down at my phone on the bedsheets. 'No, I didn't know there was a thing called 'putting your phone on silent. It's my first phone for goodness sakes!'

Instead of replying, I handed the phone to her where she moved something on the side of the phone. "There," Aphmau spoke, "your phone is on silent now so when Kawaii-Chan calls it will only vibrate."

I let our a sigh of relief before taking the phone back and flopping onto my bed. "Goodnight," I mumble before everything goes black.

I wake up and turn to my clock. 8:53. Urgh, why can't I wake up in the morning, do I have to be awake now? My throat was dry and it hurt to swallow so I decided to go down the stairs and get a drink. I make it to the banister but stop when I see Aphmau cuddling with some guy on the couch. I dunk so that they don't see me. I examine them. The guy next to Aphmau wore a red jacket, black pants, and black boots... nothing special, he dressed casually. He has black eyes and black hair. And it will be he 'had' black hair if I find out he hurt Aphmau. 

I slowly walk down the stairs as quietly as possible. But of course, my clumsy self had to slip on one of the top steps making me tumble down the stairs. 'Ouch. So much for being quiet (Y/n).' I mentally scolded myself for being so clumsy. "(Y/n)! Aphmau ran to me, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," I mumble while standing up. My back hurt but that was all, nothing minor. I smiled and waved her off as I stumbled to the kitchen. 'Stupid! Stupid! You weren't supposed to do that! Why did you have to miss that step and fall on your butt! Not only that but you had to slide down the stairs too! You probably ruined whatever they were doing!' 

I knew that my face was flushed from embarrassment because I felt the heat on my cheeks. I grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge and held it up to my face in attempt to cool it down. 'At least Zane isn't here.' All of a sudden I hear someone walk into the kitchen. 'Don't tell me this is that time where Zane pops out and is like, "Hey (Y/n), are you okay stupid? Why did you fall down those stairs?"' I opened my eyes to see that guy that Aphmau was with walking in the kitchen. 

"Hey," He greeted. I moved out of the way so that he could get to the fridge.

"Hi," I greeted back, not really wanting to have a conversation at the moment.

"I'm Aaron," He introduced himself.

"(Y/n)," I said back. I would normally say more words but right now I was too embarrassed. I mean, I just fell on my butt and slid down the stairs! Without another word, I rushed up the stairs and into my room avoiding any eye contact. I locked my bedroom door behind me. 'I am not going back down there tonight.'
