Today was the same as always. Moms Passed out drunk, Brothers stoned, and Dads out with a slut. I went to try and go wake mom up to tell her she had to drive me to school but it was useless so I just decided to go to the bus stop. When I get there I see them, The popular girls. Jessica was the main leader of there group. "Hey, Crybaby" she said. My real name is Melanie Martinez but everyone calls me crybaby. "I'm surprised to see you here, I thought you would be in a ditch crying". She continued on. I felt the tears start in my eyes. I didn't want the popular's to see me cry so I started to laugh through my tears. Right then the bus showed up I was starting up the steps until Becca (one of the popular's) pulled me off the bus and pushed me on the ground. I felt the tears start again. After the popular's got on the bus I got on. As I was walking through the aisle I would hear comments like "Crybaby" or "loser" but I just ignored them. I walked to the back of the bus and tried to hide my tears.

--Time Jump--

We arrived at school right before 1st period started, my light blue dress is stained with my tears, but I don't think anyone will notice because everything I wore had tear stains. I sat down at my desk daydreaming that I was a popular and not a crybaby. I quickly snapped out of my dream when Mrs. Johnson was at the foot of my desk asking for my homework. "Shit" I quietly said in my head I totally forgot about the homework. Everyone was staring at me, I felt embarrassed. I quietly said "I don't have it." "What?" Said Mrs. Johnson. "I don't have it" I said louder than I had intended. "See me after class." She said. I felt tears start pricking at my eyes. Everyone Started chanting "CRYBABY, CRYBABY". Then I couldn't contain it, I started bawling. And that didn't help the taunting situation it made it worse, like my tears were gasoline and there chanting was the fire. Mrs. Johnson sent me to the principles office. I assumed she did it because she felt bad for me but I don't know. I went to the principle's office and he sent me home. "Uh-Oh" I thought to myself, how am I going to explain this to mom.
