chapter 1

The morning before school started ,Lexi sat in the crudy swing set her father made for her when she was two. she cluched the old rusted chain links with both hands. It felt warm today outside. But I stayed out any way, enjoying the weather while it lasts.

I am very noticeable short. With dirty blonde hair that reached my back side. And I have hazel eyes with specks of gold in them. Her best friend Laia calls her shorty all the time. but ironically Laia is basicly the same height as me but an inch or two taller.

Lexi kept thinking how miserable school would be if any of her friends weren't in her classes. and how she would end up sitting near the morons that always say in front of her. Or if all the tall people would push her into the wall. oh how miserable that would be!

She always thought school was like a prison. With all her dumb class mate prisoners and the classes like tiny white rooms, with quotes on the wall that no one bothers to look at. Lexi sat in the back of the class and was

mostly always quiet in school.

School started tomorrow , One day! Lexi was nervous and decided to go school shopping. She went to the mall and met up with her friend Laia.

Laia, one of lexi's best friends was very beautiful.With long dark brown hair to her middle back with matching chocolate brown eyes . And sun kissed skin that stayed all year long . She looked like a model but she just wasn't that kind of person.

They went in Forever 21 and bought new clothes for school." Hey lexi!!! " Laia yelled from across the store. oh how emberessing. she relized people were looking at her so she started running over to where I was. "is this cute?" she held out a white hanger with a grey sweater of black dinosaurs on it. " it's cute. it looks really comfy laia" . she smiled at her. "thanks. have you found anything yet?" " Mmm just this black leather jacket?" I held it up to her so she could see it. " that's badass, but it's cute Lex!" I laughed at her comment on the jacket . I did want to try some new clothes this year. " this is all I'm getting laia. are you ready to check out?" she then held up her arm which had 12 clothes on it. " wow, okay let's go "

Once we had bought our clothes we headed for the elevator. About 5 yards away was a mysterious boy ,and I might say good looking too. Oh and there's my country kickin in. Then we both stepped on the elevator at the same time....
