Sometimes, you just want to pull all your hair out. Tear and rip all your clothes off. And scream, but feel like no one hears.
Thinking that no one's ever going to be there for you just breaks you, but thinking that its actually true..
It's just worse.
Crying every night. Cutting every day.
Laura Marie Marano, thats her name.
Y'know, getting shoved to lockers, receiving mean notes during almost every class, ditching class to go to the bathroom and just stay there crying and cutting can ruin one person who breathed and worked hard to live for 16 years.
There hasn't been a day since she didn't cry. Didn't frown. Didn't think of what happened the day before.
But, its just all the same. It's like a daily routine.
Wake up, go to school, get bullied, cry, cut, go home, cry, dont eat, cry, cut, eat salad, cry self to sleep.
And thats just how her life is. No wonder where her mom is, probably in another country for some business work shit.
And her da-step dad, actually. Her dad got caught cheating on a bar, seeing this curly red haired girl for a month.
And thats just another reason she wants to quit breathing, but she was a tomboy back then.
She would watch her favorite wrestler on the WWE show, John Cena. Repeating the same quote.
'Never give up'
Thats one of the reasons she got hope and stood up to them, but it got worse.
They made her weak. They made her feel like she doesn't belong here, like she she doesn't deserve breathing like any other human.
That made her change, into just.. Laura. Nothing can describe her, just.. Laura.
And thats one of the reasons she sits alone at lunch and people kept calling her goth and said she belonged to the goth table, but no one will understand.
Actually, being alone is safe. Not having friends to be ashamed of her, because she's the school weirdo who gets called 'goth' and 'nerd' and a whole book of other words.
Everytime her name gets mentioned in class, getting picked to answer the question or equation, everyone groans, and once she stands up, a bunch of girls insult her outfit or hair.
She doesn't give a shit anyway. But oh, once they get too far.. shit just got real.
"Ehh, I know right." she heard a whisper.
"She must've got it from her ugly mom"
Laugh. Giggle. Chuckle. And she stands there, dying inside, holding back tears.
"Your answer Mrs. Marano?" The teacher asked.
"Oh um, 5.7 square" and she trailed off with the math equation the teacher asked her to answer.
"and 24" she finished.
Clap. Clap. Clap. And they're all just from the teacher. Hardest question just been answered by the weird dorky goth. Of course.
"That was quite fantastic, Laura" the teacher said, smiling widly, but the smile fades when she sees no one clapping.
"Class, lets all clap for Laura for answering the hardest question."
Clap. Clap. Cl-"Class? What's wrong? Camille, care to explain what's wrong?" The teacher asked one of the also nerdy girls. But they're just Laura and Camille and Nathan from another class.
