The Deal

We were at the hospital talking to the doctor about Katie and her cancer coming back.

"How long does she have?"
I asked the doctor.
" She could past away anytime."
The doctor said.
I sat next to her as she laid in the bed taking her last breath and there was nothing I could do.

" Time of death 12:30 pm cause of death, cancer." The doctor said while writing on a clip board. Mom and I just sat there and cried knowing that there was nothing left we could do because Katie was now gone.

" Miss can you sign this." A nurse said handing me clip board.
" Sure." I said taking the clip board from her hand signing the paper" You are now his." The nurse said her eyes turning pitch black then walking away.
" Miss come back." I said running after her but the hospital is to crowded and I lost her.

"Mom go home you need to get some sleep." I said walking her to her car." can you stay over?" She asked." sure mom." I said getting in the car also.

When we made it home I put mom to bed then doing the same after. One day
was here the next she's just gone how does that happen. I thought to myself before finally going to sleep.

When I woke up I heard my mom laughing and talking to someone.Why would mom laugh at a time like this. I walked down stairs to find mom and Katie eating breakfast like yesterday never happened. " Sis" Katie said running to me and giving me a hug."Hey." I said trying to get what's going on." Mom can I talk to you?" I asked her." Sure." She said following me to the living room.

" Mom Katie died yesterday." I said." Is what your saying suppose to be funny because its not." my mom said getting upset crossing her arms." Maybe it was just a dream." I said not wanting to anger her more." I'm gonna go mom love you and give Katie a hug for me." I said giving her a kiss on the cheek before leaving.

Walking into my apartment I noticed that it was empty.
What happen to my stuff.
I looked into the kitchen to find a piece of paper on the counter that had an address written on it.

I took a taxi and drove to the address.

When I arrived at the address I saw that all the houses were huge and gated. Walking up to the door of the mansion I knocked on it waiting for someone to answere.

After little while of standing out side someone finally opened the door. It was a man Im guessing to be the butler.
" Who's at the door Charles?"
a man asked coming down stairs."It's a women." Charles, the mans butler, said then shutting the door behind me.
" Who are you and where is my stuff?" I asked getting angery.
"I'm Lucifer, and I sold your things." He said standing in front of me." I want my shit back." I said pocking him in the chest.
" Now that's not a nice thing to say coming from a beautiful mouth like yours." Lucifer said trapping me against a wall.
" I'm leaving and I want my stuff back in my apartment." I said trying to push him out the way but he wouldn't move.
" Get out of my way." I said looking into his blue eyes.
" You can't leave." he said.
" Why is that." I said still staring at him.
" I own you." He said moving away from me.
" You don't own me." I said before walking away.
