"I can't believe my mom walked in on us yesterday," Taylor walks down the hallway with her now typical girlfriend, whom was showing way too much skin for school policy.

     "Being flashy today aren't you Karlie?" Taylor pokes at Karlie as they walk to lunch hand in hand.

    "I'm just being the kid everyone thought they knew, but really didn't," Karlie continued to show pride in her step and roll her eyes at anyone staring her down.

     "This definitely wasn't in me high school either," Taylor looks down at her skimpy dress and shrugs. "I was such a big nerd."

     "Well everyone knows that, and so was I. We're two big dorks that belong together," Karlie tightens her grip on Taylor's fingers, not necessarily caring for the teachers with a confused look on their face.

     "Look Kar! There's Selena! It's our chance to make our first difference and go with the plan this time please," Taylor dragged Karlie towards her.

     Selena was at her locker, so they both wink to stop for a short conversation, or by means, drag Selena towards their lunch table.

     "Hey Sel! We're heading to lunch if you'd like to join us," Taylor pulls Karlie towards Selena so she can see the book she's inthralled in today.

     "Yeah I guess I can join," Selena puts her book quickly back in her locker, so that the girls couldn't see the cover.

     "What's on today's reading list?" Taylor leans over to Selena's locker but she quickly slams it shut.

     "Nothing but trouble. Let's just go to lunch," Selena walks on, leaving both of them behind.

     "She seems upset..." Karlie and Taylor follow behind Selena as they head onto lunch.

      "It's not the Selena you know Karlie," Taylor locks her arm around Karlie's and speeds them up to keep up with Selena.

     "I guess you're right. We'll fix her; I know we can," Karlie nudges Taylor as they enter the cafeteria together. Selena had already sat down at another table, as Taylor's friends were elsewhere.

     "Oh great she won't even sit with us," Karlie groans as she pulls Taylor back toward their table.

     "We need to get out of here Karlie. I have to work with her," Taylor escapes from Karlie's hold to wrap onto Selena.

     "Hey, what are you doing—" Selena tries to scramble as Taylor continues to hug her.

     "Sel, you know I'm just going to make you sit with us anywaaays!" Taylor pulls Selena up from her seat and drags her over to their table.

     "I know, but I thought I should at least try," Selena puts her head down as she glances over to Toni Garrn's table. She's going to pay for what she did to me.

     "You seem tense, Sel, you doing alright?" Taylor sits down beside Karlie and Selena.

     "Uh— yeah. I was just thinking about something," Selena turns her head.

     "Come on Karlie, let's go get lunch together!" Lily's eyes seem to tell another story as Karlie nods.

     "Alright, don't drive Selena crazy." Karlie kisses Taylor's forehead as she goes on with Lily.

     "Did you hear what Toni Garrn did to Selena?" Lily pulls Karlie away from the table.

     "She seemed upset. What happened?" Karlie glances over to their table as Taylor tried to talk to Selena.

     "She deliberately went out of her way to make fun of her. She was reading a book outside alone, and a bunch of Toni's friends came up with paint from the art room and slung it everywhere. It's all over Instagram!" Lily pulls out her phone to bring up the photo of Selena.

     The poor girl was sitting on the bleachers with rainbow paint all over her book and body. Her face was already in sobs, and her hand was trying to cover it.

     "Well, I'm going to get her back," Karlie had just decided.  The picture seemed to strike her as angry. Taylor is Selena's best friend and she knows how much she means to her.

"I was hoping you would say that. Cara already knows and is hoping to plan something with all of us after school. Even though she's not in her right mind, she still wants to defend Selena," Lily grabs her and Karlie a salad as they walk back to their lunch table. Selena is still trying very hard to shy away from Taylor's oblivious questions. Karlie sits down beside her.

"You know Selena," Taylor was now chomping on Karlie's salad. "We should totally hang out tonight."

"I..... I don't know about that. I have homework and it's just best if I'm alone—" Selena tries to shove her head deeper into her book.

"Nonsense! You're coming to my house tonight," Taylor placed a soft hand on Selena's back and she flinched. Seeing this, Taylor removed her hand and gave her a confused look.

"Actually Taylor, I was hoping you and Karlie would come to my house. Lily is coming too and Selena can come if she wants," Cara winked at Karlie, but Taylor didn't know what she was talking about.

"That's fine! Come on Selena, it'll be fun!" Taylor shoved more of Karlie's salad into her mouth. The once model then decided to hold Taylor's left hand while she eats.

"I guess that will be alright. I kind of need a ride over there," Selena was obviously embarrassed.

"Everybody come over at like 5. We have some planning to do," Cara cracks her knuckles as she glances over to Toni's table. They were obviously all talking about how Selena has made her way into their table.

"Do you need a ride home Sel? I usually ride with Karlie now but I'm sure there's room—" Taylor starts but Selena cuts her off.

"No. I ride the bus," Selena had no interest in spending more time with the girls.

"We're not letting her ride the bus, right?" Karlie leaned over to whisper in Taylor's ear. Taylor then kissed her cheek.

"Over my dead body."

Okay listen y'all I am so sorry

This story hasn't been updated in like 2 months.

I just don't write much anymore and all summer I've just been uninspired

I've found time to update this finally!!

I hope everyone enjoyed it because it felt good to finish a chapter

Also Taylor doesn't know what happened to Selena yet, but the party will be good

I hope to update once more before school starts next Monday, but it will probably be homophobic and not this story :(
