hold my hand, my love

it was a cold summer night
when you caught my eyes
you were laughing so hard
while i was about to cry

my heart was shattered
back then by someone
but you stood beside me
when i hid from everyone

"stop crying" , you said
as you sat nearby
"just go to bed,
and kiss the pain byebye"

right then and there i knew
that you were extraordinary
so we got closer each day
even talked regularly

on the month of may
i knew it was the day
its going to be me and u forever
not gonna let you go, No way!

but i guess life is unfair
as obstacles came fast
but you held my hand each day
even when the world was against us

it sucks that you're far
cause i really want you here
oh how fast time goes
cause its already been a year

hooray for a year
now lets make it last
its nice to have you near
on October, it was a blast!

months passed
the more difficult the challenges grew
please hold on, my love
side by side we'll get through

dont ever let go
trust me on this,
we got this for sure.

whats wrong, love?
why is your grip getting loose
isnt this the path
that we both choose?

all i remember was shouting
as we ended the night w/o talking
quarelling became a habit
can we just be okay.. Stop it!

each day passed
and i still held your hand
i wont let go i promise,
i will make a stand!

i felt your hand slowly letting go
i tried to grip harder
but you said no.

everything was darker
but you never came back
i thought we got this together
where did i lack?

you gave me a glimpse of light
now all i need is a rope
im stuck in a dark well
and you are my hope

but it hit me like a lightning
when you didnt lend a hand
thats when i saw,
you were already holding her hand

she was a perfect angel
she took you out of this well
but what about me my love
dont let me rot in hell

it hurts so much to see you w/ her
my heart's shattered on the floor
i know she's better
but you said you wont break my heart once more.

even for the last time
tell me you're happy with her
and that you dont want to be mine.

even if this is
our last " iloveyou, goodnight"
