As I walk into my apartment, I feel a gush of warm air hit and encase me. I'm not sure if I like heat or not. It's been two years of living in a the world largest freezer, so to speak, the cold became something that I enjoyed.
I walk through the living room, taking long and slow strides, and enter my room. I should be glad I am back, I'm not. It turns out I have nothing left here. Apparently the love of my life died in my time away. I'm so happy that are last day together was spent doing all the things we both enjoy.

I need to contact my sister, she probably missed me. She said that she wanted to hear about everything that happened in Antarctica. That's right, I was in Antarctica. I pick up the phone and ring her number to be greeted by an answer machine. I guess she isn't in, I may as well leave a message.

"Hey, Chelsea, it's Charlie. I'm back! I guess thing aren't the same any more. Can you call me back, I want to talk to someone I used to know." I place the phone back where it belongs and I walk over to my wardrobe.

I open my wardrobe and look for an outfit so I can go to the shop and buy some groceries. I need some seeing as there isn't any food in my house. I pick out a green t - shirt, a blue jacket and some blue jeans.

I exit my room, grab my bag and check my purse. I have enough money to last me quite a whil. Now that I've been on the stupid research trip, they paid me alot. I go to the shoe rack and take out my boots. After I put them on I set off to the store.
