The Monster Zero Saga

Chapter 1: Mars

Betrayed by his worshippers, abandoned by the people who once called him "God": Monster X held a grudge against the Xiliens. Those traders sent him to Mars. His beady red eyes stared at the stars, promising himself to get out of this rock and extract revenge.

Near X, is a bubbly orb created by the Xilien saucers when abducting large kaiju. Inside the orb, it's very foggy to see who the Xiliens "teamed up" X with. Whoever it is, Monster X could careless as long he gets out of this awful planet.

X isn't the only one who is obligated to work with another monster. The Xiliens have abducted every known monster and randomly paired each of them together.

They will be paired up in twos. Even if the two kaiju are enemies, they either have to kill or work together.

As the foggy mist disburse.... X's ally is reveled.... After an elephant like snort, Titanosaurus woke up. His gills shivered as they try to adapt this new environment. Space is a extremely different world compared to the sea.

Titanosaurus was spooked, taken back by Monster X's skeleton demonic appearance. He's never met X before; this was his first time lying eyes on him. The dark atmosphere of outer space was not helping; it was only making X look grittier.

It was fight or flight moment. Titanosaurus even questioned if he was dreaming, having a nightmare of some kind, hoping that he's still slumbering in the seas of Earth. No, this was not a dream.

The aquatic dinosaur made his most threatening roar towards the alien. Monster X flicked his Ghidorain twin tails before responding with a deep gurgle.

The space monster knew fighting or killing Titanosaurus isn't going to get him out of here. So he relaxes his arms and tries to communicate. He's going to take advantage of his humanoid body to be more persuasive. Titanosaurus let down his guard to listen.

But this chit chat will have to wait. Both Titano and X flicked their heads towards a humming sound. A space ship? No. Something else.

They were clearly being watched. Of course they would.

The Xiliens created a disgusting abomination named "Monster Zero". After discovering that he may be replaced; X foolishly fought and lost to Zero. A very quick defeat; perhaps with the help of Titanosaurus, it can be a longer battle.

X can see Titanosaurus being a great partner. He's taller than him, has much more muscle. Also, he may be the only earth monster-besides Godzilla- that X can take seriously. Every other creature on Earth are too primitive to his eyes. But Titano looked like a masterpiece, a work of art after years of evolution.

It was time to push aside differences. Titanosaurus nodded at X and they head to where the humming was detected.

Mars is interesting in terms of terrain. The soil is in many different shades of red. But there are patches of ice. It's extremely brisk. Titanosaurus is unfamiliar with such cold temperatures.

This planet was once filled with life until Ghidorah demolished it. He too was a mind controlled slave to those cowards way before Monster X was born. After destroying Venus, Ghidorah had finally rebelled against his masters and broke free from the mind control. X was created, inspired by Ghidorah's ecstatic. The Xiliens decided not mind control him, instead treat him like a God. It worked, X obeyed their orders like a dog....

After a rough climb up one of the Martian ruins, the humming was getting louder. Titanosaurus snorted, alerting Monster X.

They can see it... a large bright red ruby crystal hovering above. That's where the humming was coming from.

X was impressed. Very few extraterrestrial beings have that crystal formation. Inside, Zero was ready to hatch. Now it was there chance to attack. Both monsters assumed Zero is resting.
