Leo tapped his fingers on the table.

He was a little worried on why Jason was taking so long. He did called Leo just 30 minutes ago, but he had this werid feeling something was wrong. The other guys were in front of the T.V, playing video games.

" Oh and guys?" asked Grover

"Hmm?" Said Nico,Percy and Frank

"Haha funny story. Your concert got change at the last minute so now instead of Nebraska, we'll travel to New York."

Percy,Nico and Frank all paused their controls and stared at Grover . Finally, Percy broked down into a grin

"That's great! I'll get to see Paul,Mom and Rachel!"

Nico scratched his head in confusion, than said "Ohhh."

"I remember, Rachel is that pretty girl with red hair who likes to paint right?" he asked

Percy nodded

Frank turned to look at Leo

"Aren't you exited Leo? You'll get to see Piper."

Piper McLean was Leo's second best friend. He met her about a year ago back when the band had to perform in New York

Finally, Leo broke down into his usual grinned

" Yeah. What about you Frank? Any ladies caught your eye?" Leo asked, wiggling his eyebrows

Frank shook his head

"No. Honestly, what girl would like a guy who's both chinese and Canadian and has the face of a baby?"

Leo thought for a second

"So what you're saying, is that no one would like a chinese Canadian baby man?"

Frank nodded

" Dude. You'll meet someone, im sure. And if Leo Valdez says it, it means it's going to happened."

"Uh." Frank looked out the window

"Uh guys? Isn't Jason supposed to be here already? I mean, it's pretty late already and the food shouldn't take this long. " said Frank

Leo laughed, trying not to make anyone worry

"Nah Frank. Jason is probably stuck in traffic or met a girl or something." Leo said

Percy shook his head

"There wouldn't be as many cars at night as in the day. We should call him."

Right when Percy said that, Leo received a call

"Hello?" he said

"Yes , is this Mr. Leo Valdez?" a lady asked through the phone

"Yeah?" Said Leo

"We're sorry to inform you that Jason Grace is in the hospital taking surgery." Said the Lady

Leo gasped. Jason was at the hospital? Why?

"What happened to him?" Asked Leo

From around, Leo heard Percy telling him to put the phone on speaker, so he did

"If you are planning on coming to the hospital, you should ask more details to the doctors. But all I know is that your friend has a really deep knife cut. I should go now, goodbye."

And with that, the lady hunged up. Leo just stared in disbelief at his phone and then looked at the guys

"Uh, we should go and check on Jason guys. "

The others nodded

"I don't think Jason will be able to play the keyboard at the concert in New York. We'll have to find someone else. If he feels better he'll travel and catch up with us in Times Square,but meanwhile, he won't be able to play."Said Grover

Percy scratch the back of his neck

"Guys lets go , Jason needs us. We'll discuss about the concert later." He said grabbing the keys of his car

The other guys followed but Leo stayed behind.

He turned to the fridge and grabbed the jelly. He then grabbed the bun and the peanut butter and made himself a peanut butter and Jelly sandwich
"Leo!" called Nico

"Coming!" He said, grabbing the sandwich
