Ok I know this has the same title as a book by James Patterson and it is following a similar line but I wanted to do it about a group of friends in the uk rather than middle school. Oh and in case it's not obvious I am slight Doctor who Addict, expect lots of quotes!
.................!.....................!.................!...
I finally see my friends on the usual bench, right in the corner. I sit down, plop my lunch on the table and start eating not denying my stomach food any longer.
All five of my friends start eating my food with me, it's not rude it's just what we do, we call it 'helping each other'. Alice is the first one to finish.
She turns to me,
"So, how was she?"
"How was who?" asks Izzy.
I let Alice reply for me.
"Mrs.Evans"
Izzy rolls her eyes.
"Not another detention Lily!"
I take another bite of my sandwich before I nod my head.
"What was it for this time?"
"Apparently she doesn't like it when you start quoting Doctor Who during her science lesson, she really didn't like it when I corrected her whole 'time is a line' rubbish. I was only joking, honestly."
"But time isn't a line, from a non-linear, non-subjective point of view it is actually more of a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey, stuff"
"Exactly what I said! You know what, I have so many detentions I may as well do something to earn them."
Aaron turned to me, a devilish look on his face,
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
"I sure am my long haired friend."
Tom and Eli looked at me, eyebrows raised.
"Ok, you know that book ' Middle school, The worst years of my life.Well basically he sets himself a challenge to break all the rules in the school code of conduct book, Operation: R.A.F.E,
Rules
Aren't
For
Everyone.
He gets so many points for breaking the rules and then there are bonuses for certain things. I was thinking we could do a similar thing with our school rules.Who's in?"
Aaron put his hand on the table immediately, closely followed by Tom and Eli. Alice only hesitated a little while before placing her hand on the pile. Izzy however was a bit more doubtful,
"But what if we get in trouble?"
"That's the whole idea, come on it will be fun."
I place my hand on the pile and finally Izzy follows suit.
"Ok so it's settled, we're doing it. Aaron can I count on you to do the paperwork?"
"Sure can!"
"Good! Now that's out the way, someone help me with my maths homework, it's due in in 5 minutes!"
