BREAKING NEWS; IS MIKEY AND GERARD WAY IN A RELATIONSHIP.. WITH THE SAME GIRL?!
The magazine cover was blaring with obnoxious colors and titles that I had to look away for just a moment to allow my eyes to readjust. Jinx had left the magazine on the couch this morning with a yellow post-it note pasted to the cover saying 'page 24'
Quickly I turned to page 24 trying to avoid seeing Pete's um.. goods..? But there right in the center of the page was a photo of Gerard and I in the car together. I was hardly pregnant, but there was a small round bumb that alerted the authors that there might be something else going on. In the photo itself Gerard was grinning widely as he made full eye contact with the camera. His hair was pasted to his face by sweat and his eyes were far and distant. I was putting my own seat belt on and therefore had a muted expression. There was a second picture on the side that shown Mikey and I from yesterday, my pregnancy belly painfully obvious. I was using my hands to try to convey a message to Mikey and his face was completely shell-shocked.
I suppose it wasn't ideal, but at least everyone knew now. I read the article out to myself to ensure that I wouldn't miss anything "Gerard Way, despite struggles with alcoholism, seems to be expecting with a local! It would sure explain the cancellation of several MCR shows along the West Coast." I flipped the page to read on, "However it seems like Way and the lady in question aren't on the best terms. There are even some speculations that she may be dating the other Way, Mikey! We can only hope this lady drama won't cause damage to the brother's relationship or the band."
