Chapter 12

Chapter 12 - Camping Trip!

I was in Candyland, sweets and treats surrounding me and there was a sweet scent in the air. The river was chocolate and the trees were peppermints. There were also large gumdrop trees and gram cracker houses. Everything was amazing, it made me feel relaxed, at peace. I turn around to see a small gummy bear that came up to my knees. "Is there something you need?" I asked in a sweet voice, bending down to its level.

"Wake up."

I stood there with a confused look on my face, "What?"

"Wake up (Y/N)."

"How do you know my name? And why do you sound like Katelyn?"

I was snapped back into reality when someone grabbed my shoulders and shook me,"WAKE UP!" I screamed making the person jump back and stop shaking me. I opened my eyes to see Katelyn with dark bags under her eyes. She looked like she got no sleep.

"What time is it?" I mumbled as I laid my head back on the pillow.

"6 o'clock."

"IT'S 6 PM?" I bolted forwards, yelling.

"No, it's 6 am."

 I glared at her and spoke in a deep voice, "Why did you wake me up so early? Why couldn't you wake me up at 8? I finally had a good dream for once! I was in Candyland and there was a chocolate river and-"

"Okay, no more watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory before you go to bed."

"But that wasn't-"

"Anyways, Aphmau wanted you to pack, we're going on a trip."

"A trip? What kind of trip? With who?"

"A camping trip with everyone. I'll list their names out for you," Katelyn cleared her throat, "Aaron, Laurence,Garroth, Zane, Travis, Aphmau, Kawaii-Chan, Reese, Lucinda, and me."

"10 people?!"

"11 including you."

I squinted my eyes, staring at the wall in front of me, "But why so early?"

"She said something about we needed to bond more as a group."

"How long are we staying?"

"3 days."

I sighed, "Okay I'll get ready. I'll see you downstairs when I'm ready."

"Okay, have fun." Katelyn left the room and shut the door, leaving me in the dark room.

After packing and taking a shower I cautiously went down the stairs, not wanting what happened the night before to happen today. After successfully getting down the stairs without falling on my butt, I sat down next to Katelyn who was sitting on the couch. "What are you doing?" I questioned as she was typing things on her phone.

"I'm making a new script for a play that I'm thinking about doing."

"You direct plays?"

"I've only done it once but it was a huge success!"

I smiled, "What was it?"

She grinned back at me, "Romeo and Juliet."

My eyes widened and I grasped onto her arm, "Who played the lead roles?!"

She chuckled, "Aaron played Romeo and Aphmau played Juliet."

Aphmau walked into the room and blushed, "Don't talk about that! That was a long time ago!"

Katelyn laughed, "It wasn't THAT long ago and you shouldn't be so flushed over it, he is your boyfriend now."

I jumped up from the couch, "WHAT! Y-YOU AND AARON ARE A THING?!" Aphmau's face was a deep shade of red as she nodded. I calmed down a bit, "That's why you and Aaron were cuddling on the couch last night."

Katelyn's eyes widened, "Ooooo! I didn't know Aaron came over last night? What time was it?"

"I think it was around 9 when I saw them."

"Late night date, huh?" Katelyn wiggled her eyebrows.

Aphmau could barely stand it, "Calm down! It wasn't like that! He just wanted to hang out for goodness sakes!"

"Mhm..." Katelyn hummed.

The doorbell rang, cutting off Aphmau when she opened her mouth to say something. She sighed and walked over to the door, her face still flushed. She opened the door and I walked over next to her.

"Hey!" Travis greeted in on the porch.

"Hey Snow White, how are you doing?" I asked while smiling innocently.

"Why did you call me Snow White?"

"Your hair is white so what's a better nickname than Snow White?"

Aphmau laughed, "Come in while we wait for everyone else." Laurence, Travis, Garroth, and Dante walked in and Aphmau closed the door behind him. "Now, I still need to make plans on how we are going to get there and who is going to be in which car. I'm going to be upstairs so if anyone knocks on the door or rings the doorbell, tell them to come inside and wait for the rest to arrive."
