 "So this is Brian? What do you want?" Liam continued to glare at him from the bed. 

 "I came to see my niece if that's alright you?" Brian was getting the same aura from Liam as I was, resentment. 

 "I dont know, what does Riely say?"

 "Liam, its her uncle. He should at least get the chance to be in her life." 

 "I dont think so." 

 "Why?" Liam didn't answer. "You got a problem with me, say it to my face." Brian got tense and defensive. 

 "You know what my problem is? Where were you? What happened to you when Dante and his goons attacked the village? How come you didn't protect your sisters?"

 "My parents were murdered right before my eyes, I was next to get slaughtered and both my sisters were gone. I didn't know what to do, so I did what I did so at least one of the Winters family could live on and if that meant saving my own ass, I sure as hell was gonna try. If I had known that either Kyla or Riley were alive, human or supernatural, I would have done everything in my power to find them and keep them safe from that asshole Dante. If you dont believe me, I could care less, the only people I need to believe me are Riley and Kyla." He turned to me . Liam pretty much asked all the questions I planned on asking and I didnt know how I felt. What he said sounded genuine but at the same time another question popped into my head. 

 "Did you even try? To look for us that is."

 "No, after the whole village was murdered, I just assumed they got you as well so I went on my way with my pack."

 "You already had a pack when Dante attacked?"

 "Cyrus changed me months before the attack. I didnt tell anyone becuase I knew father would be ashamed of me. I'm so sorry Riely, for not looking for you, but for how we treated you when we were kids. I spent everyday thinking about what a crap brother I was to you. All those times you were there for Kyla and I, all those times you just wanted to be apart of the family and we brushed you off and treated you like shit. And I would give anything to take it all back! Older brothers are supposed to protect and care for their little sisters and I didnt do a thing. I'm just happy you found someone to look out for you and love you enough to start a family." Liam was standing next to me with Lily in his arms, asleep. 

 "Actually, Lily isnt Liam's-" I felt a hand on my shoulder. 

 "Are you sure?" He sounded worried.

 "Liam, he's my brother. I have to tell him." 

 "Tell me what?" I took a deep breath. 

 "I was raped, and Lily is the product." Brian looked like he was still processing it but when he came to, he was far beyond pissed. His nostrils began to flare, his breathing quickened and his eyes changed from their bright cobalt blue to an oragnish with gold flecks, his wolf eyes. If he got any more angry, he'd change. 

 "Was it you?! Did you hurt her?!" He yelled at Liam and went after him. His growls got louder as he shoved him up against the wall. I could see LIam trying to shield Lily with his body. It happened so fast I wasnt able to comprehend fast enough to keep Brian from hurting Liam. 

 "Brian stop! It wasnt Liam! Stop now before I throw you from the roof!" I pulled at his arms trying to get him to stop. I had to yell over Lily's cries to get him to listen. "Brian! You are hurting my Daughter!" The anger in his eyes diminished a little at my words.
