Chapter 1

"Pull the trigger" my brother screamed at me.

I wasn't sure if I should or not. "I mean the man didn't do anything" Before I could even take a breath somebody had already done it for me.

"She isn't ready to do this" said my oldest-oldest brother Shawn.

I-I am I have been training and working my ass off doin this . I just went blank for a min- I DONT CARE , WHAT IF TGE BASTARD HAD A GUN YOU WOULD BE DEAD BY NOW.

I looked at him and said "At least I'm trying" I said as tears welled up in my eyes. And I walled away

"Wait-Sherise" I heard him say in a distance.

As I laid in my bed after my shower I thought about what he said. I thought to myself maybe I'm not cut out to be and assassin. Then I heard noises.

I got up and then noises got louder and I remembered I'm in between two of my brothers. I put my headphones in and went to sleep. Hoping for a better day.

I woke up to someone banging in my door. I got out and showered and hurried down stairs where I saw everyone sitting.

"Look who decided to join us said Nita , she's the oldest sister.

I know right , ain't it time for you to tAke your shots, or are ya still scared of needles. Said the third youngest brother Delvin.

"Isn't it time for you to get tested for aids or something I heard ya .new fuckeroo for the week screaming last night. " I replied back smartly.

"Didn't I tell all of you about this , don't being no girls, or boys into this house, understand? Said Nita.

Yea I guess we all replied.

If you were wondering it's twelve of us in this house, our parents died during a little date night. Its sad but since it happened so long ago I can't feel as much pain anymore.

The  oldest ones are Nita, Shawn, Nicky , Kenicky, Joseph, and Lee. Plus they don't live in this house anymore because they have their own kids. But they do take turns in watching us, helping with homework and shii like that.

Then it's us "younger" kids.

Malik, Angel , Antwone, Marquelle, Delvin and me, my names Sherise. Yes I am the baby.

"Anyways" so who do we have next? I ask them. "There is no we it's me"

. Said Marquelle.
I looked down a little saddened.

"BUT" said Nita.

"You can help me with getting them somewhere private" she said with a smile.

"He'll no I don't want her around hi- Shawn started to speak but Nita interrupted.

Chill out she is just gonna help me swing him in. She said casually.

I DONT CARE said Shawn as he started to get louder.

DONT YOU DARE RAISE YOUR VOICE AT ME, YOU TOLD ME TO HELP HER AND I AM!!!! She said growing angry.

"I mean I don't mind" I say in a hushed tone.

"Angel take Sheri up stairs, matter of fact EVERYONE GO UPSTAIRS me and Shawn need to have a talk.

You know how a stampede sounds like. Thatd how it was running up those stairs.

I went into my room door and closed it.

"Angel, I don't know what to do, maybe I wasn't cut out to be an assassin. I said while tears welled up in my eyes

"Don't take it personally, Nita wants you to start off with swinging them in now. She thinks that's better than handling guns for right now,"

"I guess I said crying more. Angel rubbed my back and soon I fell asleep.

Nita pov.

"Why the fuck do you do this to her?" I asked Shawn , rely trying to figure out why.

"I just.." he stammered out.

"You just what?" I said getting irritated.

"I don't want her to get hurt like you did, ok?" I don't want her to do things that you did You were her age."

"Shawn she isn't like me . Me and her are two different types of people.I said hoping he would understand.

"I know that" he said putting his head down.

"But that's not the problem is it, you don't want her to grow up. WELL GUESS WHAT DUDE SHE IS FREAKIN FIFTEEN YEARS OLD!".

"You know what Nita think about the things you did when YOU were fifteen." " Remember that swimming pool party you had a bikini on and the bitch untied it so you had to stay in that pool for hours untill it was clear then don't get me started, well not to mention you had Shiney at that age ." he said having a point.

"Like I said before Shawn me and her are different, and plus she knows how to choose her friends wisely. Thts one thing I admire from her...really." I said shyly.

"I'm going out, I'll be back tonight for first shift. He said while slamming the front door.

I sighed and walked up the stairs to Sherise's room I knocked on it then saw she was sleep and Angel was too. I smiled we are the only three girls....wow.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a thud. I ran to the twins room and saw them fighting. I was about to break it up. Then compared my 5'2 size to their 6'0 size.

"Nicky!!" I called them and soon he broke up the fight.

"Why were you two fighting" I asked while cleaning their cuts.

"Delvin fucked Neela" said Marquelle who looked angry ass ever.

"And Marquelle made Justine give him head."

I shook my head at them both." How did you two find out about it then?"

"Neela sent Delvin nudes and I just so happened to look at his phone and there it was." said Marquelle.

"Well looks like you both need to break up with those girls, and I told yall they thots. Why yall won't go with them two church girls Dominique and Kenzie.?"

"Ughh " they both said
"I don't think so Nita. " said Delvin.

"Why?" I asked they are smart go to church , cheerleaders , and cute. I said reassuringly.

"That's a true but they I don't want them to say stuff, ya know?" said Marquelle.

I smiled and said "yea" I know as I got up and walked out. They both know they like them, 28th they dark asses.

But I do understand what they mean though I mean we are a family of assassins....
