That Ship has Sunk

Before I start, I don't ship stucky but for all of you who do, good for you and I have nothing against it so don't be insulted:) okay enjoy!

"So who's Henry Kate?" Sebastian said again, this time his smirk grew even bigger. I'm assuming it's because my cheeks started to blush. "It's really not what you think." I started. "Found it!" Chris yelled. "Found what?" I asked as I walked back over and took a seat across from Sebastian on my love seat. "The movie I was looking for." He said as he tossed it to me. "C'mon Kate, don't ignore the question." Sebastian said as he came and sat down next to me on the love seat. "Seb leave her alone, clearly she was just thanking the guy who stripped for her." I let the DVD case slip out from my hands while I proceeded to cover my face. "Am I right Kate? Jeez some people don't understand privacy." I could hear Chris was putting the DVDs back and Sebastian was buzzing with laughter next to me. "You guys seriously heard the worst part of the conversation." I mumbled from behind my hand shield. "I'm sure we did." Sebastian snickered. He took the DVD case from on my lap and tossed it to Chris. "Might as well start the movie Chris, I think Kate's just going to stare at her hands tonight." I peeked my eyes out from behind my hands and saw Chris putting 'The Other Guys' into my blu-ray player and I noticed that Sebastian was still very close next to me. Before I let the tension bother me anymore I spoke up. "Henry is just a friend you guys, no need to keep exchanging your, not very subtle, eye conversation." They glanced at each other one more time until Chris put his hands up in mock surrender. At least that was over.

"Wait not so fast." Sebastian turned so he was looking at me. "I'm curious as to who he is." He was still teasing me but I could see something different in his eyes, they were almost serious. "Oh yea?" I said as I turned to look at him now. "Who was the girl at the other end of your phone when I called?" He was silent for a moment, almost shocked. "Okay I'll ask Chris." I jumped off the couch and hopped onto my sectional next to Chris. "Chris!" I sang a little before laughing. "Nope I'm not getting involved in this, it's like the nerf war all over again." He folded his arms over his chest. "She was our interviewer earlier." Sebastian spoke up. "Why...were you jealous?" Shoot. Shoot. Shoot. I need to cover my tracks and fast. "Not as jealous as you seem to be over a man I work with. Not to mention he's taken." It was my turn to smirk at Sebastian now. Chris spit out a laugh as if he was holding his breath the entire time. "Wha-?" Sebastian began before I cut him off. "Henry is one of the models!" I started laughing too. "I literally just met him the other day. He showed me around while you both were gone." "Sorry we didn't tell you sooner." Chris said looking at me from the tv. "No worries, I know it was kinda last minute." My mind went back to our previous conversation. I could feel my face go a little red again. "Oi I could see how that would sound from your end." I put my face in my hands one more time. "Jerks." Sebastian mumbled before he got up from the love seat and went off to where the bathroom is. "For your peace of mind" Chris whispered next to me. "She was our interviewer."

When Sebastian came back we started the movie. I interrupted the silence while the trailers were playing. "Besides" I said while I was stretching next to Chris. "I'm more worried about the two of you." I kept my eyes on the screen while I spoke but I could tell they were both confused. "The two of us?" Sebastian said as he got up and took a seat next to me. "Yea! The internet seems to think you and Mr. Rogers over here are an item." I pointed at Chris and then turned my attention back to the screen. "Don't tell me you believe in that Stucky ship too Kate?" Chris paused the movie and eyed my suspiciously. "Oh no, I'm sure they're just best friends, but you two started questioning me and I thought it was only fair to question back. Some people have pretty detailed theories." Sebastian scoffed and Chris pressed play on the remote starting the movie again. "Nothing to worry about in the real world." Sebastian mumbled. "And why is that?" I asked as sincere as I could without moving my gaze from the screen. "I'm sinking whatever Stan-Evans ship exists right now."

The movie ended and they helped me clean up the mess of popcorn and chips that we made before they got ready to leave. "Thanks for everything Kate, call you tomorrow?" Sebastian said as he stood by the door, hands in the loops of his jeans, while Chris was putting on his shoes. "Anytime!" I glanced back at the clock before replying again. "Just give me some time to sleep!" I laughed. I was hoping he was going to hug me but he just stood the same as before. I'm assuming it was because of earlier, which I couldn't care less about at this moment. Chris finished putting his shoes on and gave me a hug. "Thanks Kate, maybe next time we'll watch the other movie I was surprised you had." He said nonchalantly as we hugged. "What other movie?" I asked honestly confused. He chuckled before walking out the door with Sebastian. "Didn't know you were into that kind of stuff Miss Newman!" He said while laughing and then winked before he shut the door behind him. That kind of stuff? What exactly does he think I'm into? I ran over to my DVD box and began ruffling through all of the cases. There at the bottom I spotted what he was talking about. The movie my mom got for me as a joke gift, the one I totally had forgotten about...Fifty Shades of Grey.
I was never going to live this one down.
