Narration

Namjoon sat back in his chair devastated as he watched his lover bawl big tears.

"Jin," he said softly, Jin looked up to see Namjoon's serious face and sniffled. The man wiped his eyes and got up and walked over to Namjoon and buried his face in his shoulder and cried even more.

"Why does it have to be so hard?" Jin sobbed between breaths.

"I don't know baby, I don't know," Namjoon responded softly as he stroked Jin's soft hair and looked at the adoption papers, stamped DENIED across the top. This is the eighth time the couple has been denied adoption and Jin couldn't take it anymore. He wanted a child so badly but just couldn't have it because the orphanages refused to give children to same-sex couples.

"It's not fair," Jin muffled into Namjoon's shirt quietly. Namjoon just sighed in response and continued his actions of stroking Jin's hair.

That night, Namjoon stood up late on his computer scouring the internet for a place that would agree to giving them a child. He stayed up for long straight hours, drinking non-stop servings of coffee. He dozed off every now and then but eventually woke five minutes later. Until he found it. Not even getting a chance to sleep he was suddenly approached by a barely awakened Jin.

"You're up early," Jin yawned as he saw Namjoon slouched over the computer desk.

Namjoon swiveled his chair to face his lover with a huge grin on his face.

"I never slept," he replied.

"And that's something to be happy about?" Jin asked confused.

"No," Namjoon smirked then smiled again, "BUT I found an orphanage that agreed to give us a child even though we're a gay couple," he stood up.

Jin looked at Namjoon in disbelief. "No way."

Namjoon nodded happily as he extended his arms which Jin ran into happily embracing him. "Yes I did." Jin squealed in delight as Namjoon hugged him and started to cry tears of joy.

"Oh my God," Jin breathed, "We gotta get ready to go," he said patting down his hair. Namjoon chuckled and motioned his husband to the room so they could get changed.

After several minutes, Jin finally chose a cardigan and a pair of black skinny jeans and Namjoon decided best to wear a suit. Jin's casual dressing made it a must to have to wear something formal. The two approached the front door and turned to face each other. With swift hands, Jin tied Namjoon's tie and sighed happily.

"Ready?" Jin asked excitedly.

"Let's go." Namjoon reached for the doorknob and held the door open. Jin strutted out with Namjoon tailing right behind and they both headed to their car.

The four hour drive from Seoul to Busan was long and Jin was becoming restless.

"Ugh, are we there yet?" he asked throwing his head back in frustration.

"No baby, how about you sing me a song," Namjoon replied turning off the radio announcements.

"Okay," Jin answered beginning to sing a beautiful melody. Song after song, Namjoon never got tired of hearing Jin's lovely voice drift to his ear. It was long, but it didn't seem long, before Namjoon pulled up to a huge church looking building. The couple exited the car simultaneously and  walked toward the huge wooden doors.

The door pushed open toward them revealing a rather old lady dressed as a nun, accompanied by a young girl around her 20's dressed in a green knitted sweater and a black skirt.

"We've been waiting for you two," the nun smiled at Jin and Namjoon, reaching a hand out, and shaking both their hands, "I am Sister Chung Cha and this is Hye," the nun motioned toward the young woman who extended her arm to shake the couple's hands. "Please enter," Sister Chung Cha and Hye moved aside allowing room for the two men to enter.

Sister Chung Cha walked ahead with the three trailing behind her as she spoke. Jin didn't pay too much attention. He was in awe by the architectural design of the building. It was marvelous.  Jin was snapped out of his thoughts when the four stopped in front of a small wooden door. Smaller than the front door by 5 times. It was so small the young woman could hit the top of the door frame without even jumping. The nun motioned for one of the men to open the door, which happened to be Namjoon. Inside revealed a huge room aligning both sides in bunk beds and running around with  thirty or forty children.

Jin stepped in, hand over heart, overwhelmed with all the children he was seeing. Namjoon grasped his other hand as they walked all the way in. The two looked around and were greeted by a few children and greeted them back.

"Which one do we take home, Joonie?" Jin asked looking around.

"Let's take them all," Namjoon joked, receiving a light punch from Jin.

They reached the back of the room and turned around to scan the room again. Still unsure of which child to take, their ears were distracted by beautiful voice coming from another room. They followed the sound into a small music room. Half the size of the bedroom. In the far corner of the room was a young boy playing piano and singing a beautiful melody. Namjoon looked at Jin and Jin nodded, which was a sign that this child was the one. This was the child they were going to take home, nurture and raise.

The boy eventually noticed the coupe and stopped playing. He stood up graciously and bowed.

"Annyeong hashmnikka," he greeted and the men walked toward him.

"Annyeong," Jin replied softly, slowly approaching the young boy. The elder knelt down and shook his hand, "What's your name?" Jin asked.

"My name is..."
