Ch.7

~Gavin's POV~

I sure was nervous to have Maggie over tonight for dinner with Geoff and Griffon, even though they were absolute top people. I hoped I wouldn't mess up anything and that by the end of the night Maggie and I would still be together. "Hey buddy, you look distraught" Griffon said as she walked into the kitchen to help Geoff start making dinner. I sighed. "Yeah, I just want things to go good tonight." I replied. Geoff just chuckled. "Well why wouldn't it? Griffon and I aren't THAT embarrassing are we?" he said with a joking tone. I just smiled  at them and said "Nah, you're not bad at all! I'm just worried about myself I guess...I do tend to fuck things up every now and then." When Geoff heard this he put down the knife he was using to cut up an onion and walked over to me. "Gavin. Maggie loves you no matter what. Fuck up or not." I guess it was his 'pep talk' to me. "Thanks Geoff" I replied.Just then the doorbell rang. I jumped up and said "I'll get it!" before hurrying to the front door. I straightened myself and took a deep breath before opening up the door. "Hello beautiful!" I said cheerily as the girl of my dreams walked in.

~Maggie's POV~

"Hello beautiful!" said a familiar british voice as the door opened and I stepped inside. "Hello yourself" I said kissing Gavin lightly on the lips before removing my shoes. "Ooh it smells delicious in here!" I commented as Gavin led me to the kitchen where Geoff and a woman, who I presumed was Geoff's wife, were cooking dinner. "Hey there!" I said giving Geoff a wave. He smiled and waved back while the lady walked over and embraced me in a hug. "Hello Maggie! I'm Griffon, Geoff's wife. It's so nice to finally meet you!" she said happily before releasing me. I smiled. She was as nice as Lindsay and Barbara said she was. "It's nice to finally meet you too!" I replied before taking a seat that Gavin had pulled out for me. "Wow, you have a very nice house" I said while looking around and admiring Geoff's house. "Why thank you, Maggie" Geoff said as he continued cooking. "Since it's so nice out, why dont we sit on the terrace out back?" Griffon suggested. "Awesome idea!Gavin, set the table please.Food should be ready in a few minutes" Geoff said. "Sure thing Geoffery" Gavin said as he stood up and grabbed the silverware and glasses. "Anything that I could do to help out?" I asked, not wanting to just sit around while other's did the work. "Yes actually, would you mind helping me make some bevs?" Griffon asked. I smiled and stood up. "Of course, just tell me what to do!" i said enthusiastically. "Grab ice out of the freezer and also the Margarita mix from the fridge. It's time to celebrate the new couple" she said with a wink. I just blushed and did as she said. "I'm guessing that I get to see Geoff drunk tonight." I said with a giggle. Griffon smiled and nodded. "Oh yeah! Geoff drunk is a lot of fun to mess with." she said while Geoff just rolled his eyes. Gavin came in from setting up the table and grabbed some shot glasses. "It's time for a regular Friday night here at the Ramsey household." he said as he poured vodka into each one and handed them out. "Alright. To a fun filled night, new friends and to Magvin." Geoff said as we all clinked our shot glasses together and downed them. Then Griffon, Gavin and I went and sat outside while Geoff finished up cooking. "I know you're related to Michael but i really can't believe it. You're so much different than him" Griffon said as she sipped her margarita. I just giggled. "People say that alot. I mean I understand why we are so different. I was adopted from Russia at 9 months old and I guess I've always found that whenever my brother decides to yell or get mad about something I find it really annoying so I don't do the things that he does.  I guess you could say that I TRY to be as different from him as possible." I replied as Geoff brought out the food. "Well I think that's great that you're both so different" Griffon said as food began to be passed around. Dinner went on just like that, normal conversation about what I thought of the AH team and the rest of the Roosterteeth crew and also about how Geoff and Griffon met Gavin. There was lots of laughs and booze to be had and by the time dinner was over we were all very full, drunk and holding our stomachs from laughter. "Hey, let me take a picture of the cute couple on their first date" Geoff said. I smiled and sat on Gavin's lap. "one, two, three!" Geoff said as the flash went off. "Awe so cute" Griffon said while giggling drunkenly.My phone went off as I realized that Geoff had just posted the picture to twitter with the caption "welcome to the family, mags!" I smiled and tweeted back "Thanks for adopting me...again!" Then we all cleaned up our plates and headed inside to drink even more. By the time Michael texted me that he was outside to pick me up, I could barely form a sentence. "I-I gotta gho. Micool is here"  I said as I stood up to leave. Griffon and Geoff said goodbye and told me I was welcome to come over anytime. I thanked them both for the drinks and the food before Gavin led me to the front door. "I had a blast tonight" I told him as I put my shoes on, using him as support so I wouldn't fall over from how drunk I was. "Me too! Text me when you wake up tomorrow, we can go grab lunch and hangout." Gavin replied as I straightened myself to say goodbye. "I love you Gavin" I said wrapping my arms around his neck and standing on my tiptoes. He wrapped his arms around my waist and smiled. " I love you too, Maggie" he said as he kissed me goodnight. Just as we pulled away, Michael honked the horn outside. "Dammit Michael" I muttered as I quickly kissed Gavin again before walking out the front door to the car.

~Griffon's POV~

Once Maggie left it seemed pretty boring around the house. I helped Geoff clean up the kitchen and Gavin took out the trash. "She seems like a sweetheart, good for you Gavvers" I said as we all sat down on the couch to watch some TV. "Yeah, she's pretty amazing." Gavin replied with a yawn. "Thanks for making dinner Geoff. I'm gonna get some sleep and hopefully not wake up with a headache. Goodnight guys!" the brit said before walking to his room. " I'm so happy for him" I said as I cuddled up next to Geoff who put his arm around me. "Yea me too. I just hope things stay like this for awhile." my husband said before we both fell asleep on the couch.

~Timeskip to a few weeks later~

~Maggie's POV~

Life's been pretty awesome. I have an amazing boyfriend, awesome friends and to top it off I get to work with them every day. It's still kind of awkward between Ryan and I. The first few days after the 'Magvin podcast' he didn't show up to work and when he finally did he avoided me at all costs. The only way I could talk to him was while we were all recording videos. I tried talking to him but he either just nodded, pretended he had work to do or just ignored  me completely. Finally after about two weeks I gave up and decided that if he wanted to talk to me, he would. Today, Gavin was away on a trip with Geoff so Jack was 'in charge'.  We had already recorded our videos for the day and were just about done editing when I got a call. "Hey Gavvy" I said as I answered the phone, I could feel that Ryan was staring at me so I got up and left the room to continue the conversation. Gavin had been gone for about a week and had just called to tell me that it would be another week or so before he came home. I mentally groaned but said "Awesome! Can't wait until I get to see you again Gav! I love you!" before  ending the call and walking back into the office. "So Geoff and gavin are going to be gone for another week." I said as I sat back down at my desk next to Gavin's empty desk. "Oh yeah, okay it's a good thing that we recorded all those extra Let's Plays then." Jack said. I nodded. "Hey Mags, Jack and I are gonna go get lunch, do you want anything?" My brother asked as he grabbed his coat. " Just get me something sweet, I need the energy" I said as I laid my head down at my desk. Michael nodded and he left with Jack. I had almost fallen asleep at my desk when I felt someone sit beside me at Gavin's empty desk. I cracked open one eye and almost jumped in surprise when I saw that it was Ryan who had sat next to me. " Can I help you?" I asked in a slightly annoyed but curious tone.

~Ryan's POV~

I didn't mean to make Maggie hate me as much as I thought that she did..I just needed some time to cool off about her and Gavin dating even though I still had feelings for her. When Jack and Michael left to go get lunch, I took it as an opportunity to try and explain myself. So I stood up from my desk and sat down at Gavin's. " Can I help you?" Maggie asked in a slightly annoyed tone. I sighed and quickly pondered on what I was going to say. "Hey Mags..I'm sorry for being so distant lately. I've just been trying to figure things out and it's been tough..." I stated. "I'm gonna cut the shit. I was just wondering if you wanted to hangout later so I can explain myself better."

~Maggie's POV~

"I wouldn't call ignoring me for the past few weeks 'being distant'" I said. "But sure, if it will help you get over whatever it is you're going through then yea I'll come over after work for a bit." I said. "Great, we can have dinner or something. Come over around 7 and I'll explain everything." the dark haired man said as he stood up and left the room. "Sounds good to me" I said with a  sigh before I continued editing videos before Michael came back with Jack. They brought me a dark chocolate candy bar which I gladly ate to help settle my thoughts. What on earth would happen tonight? I thought to myself as I continued with my work

-Timeskip-

"Just text me when you're ready to be picked up." Michael told me as he dropped me off in front of Ryan's home."Sure thing!Thanks Michael!" I replied before closing the passenger door of the car and walking up the steps to the front door. I knocked twice and within a second the door opened to reveal the Mad King himself. "Hey Mags! please come in" Ryan told me with a smile. I smiled back and stepped inside.
