Hey, this is my take on what happen next.
Sorry- Georgia.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Your blood was so warm, it chilled me to my absolute core. In a matter of seconds I already blamed myself. My face buried into your neck I couldn't lose you. I couldn't.
As much as I tried I could not get a solid hold on you. Not just because of the blood but more because of my shaking, God I was shaking, my sobs turned violent. You had just died in my arms. It should of been me, why wasn't it me!?
I couldn't, this h-how? NO!
God even in my mind I was a stuttering mess.
I was weak cradling your body against my chest as I slid back and rested on our car, which was now too cover with your blood.
This hasn't happened. It didn't, how could it!?
I knew this felling I was hyperventilating, it had happened before on some special occasions. Our wedding day being one of them. Another sob ripped it's way from my chest. Your smile, that was a thing I had always treasured and now I would never see it again.
"NO!"
My...You.
"God Jess no.. Please no no no, just open your eyes for me please just- if you love me you- you'll open your eyes...PLEASE!"
I would never see your world holding eyes again. I longed for you to open them and bring back the stars.
I managed to bring my hand to your cheek stroking the bloody hair from your face, I could no longer feel the tears running down my face, they were falling to heavily.
"JESS!"
I couldn't even understand what I was saying or what I was feeling, I was crying to much.
A mess of Crimson blood.
A mess of love.
A mess of you.
I knew it wouldn't help but I had done this, it was my fault.
"I LOVED HER YOU ASHOLE!"
I felt those words bounce around and echo loudly in my skull.
'She's gone, your gone' were the quite whispers in my head.
He'd left the gun.
'Ha, of course he had...'
As if he knew what I would do.
What do I do?
Shakespeare.
You had always liked Shakespeare, remembering that you had played Juliet once in high school.
And I had always been one for dramatics.
"I'm sorry for this love, but this is something that I need to do."
Talking a breath, I reached my trembling red hand out to grab the cold silver.
'And with a kiss I-'
I press my lips softly to yours, my fingers twitches.
I'll see you soon...
