How it began.

"In exchange for any wish, I will take your soul. Do you understand?" A disembodied, low voice asked. "Yeah... I guess I do." I mutter, fidgeting on my spot in the middle of the chalk-drawn pentagon."Alright then, what is your wish?" The voice continued. "Uhh.... could you.. maybe be my friend?"

That was how it began. I had felt so lonely and so done with the world that I tried one of those horror movie things; to summon a demon, or perhaps Satan even. I have no idea which one I summoned, but I hope I did it right. I haven't really done this before.

I hold my breath when a figure appears out of the dark, right in front of me. "What is your name, my friend?" the figure asks and I take a moment to look at him... it. "Haley..." I then reply. It is a man, taller than a normal human should be. His skin is dark red, a smile with teeth so white I could nearly see my own reflection. Yellow eyes, void of any pupils. A giggle comes up when I see the thick black eyebrows and they remind me of caterpillars. Don't you think they're kind of funny? Of course there are the typical matching horns on top of the man's head, a thick bush of hair around it. He kind of looks like a enormous sun burnt rocker dude. "I am what your kind calls Satan." the man then says, seemingly also taking my appearance in. "That's cool."

Satan raises an eyebrow and then I step out of the chalk pentagon. "Don't I like have to fill in some form of contract or something like that?" I cautiously look at the man and then pull my sleeve down. I had used blood to summon him to this world after all. "No, you already did with the blood to summon me here." Wow I just thought of that. It's not everyday I get to meet someone who... talks this much back to me. "You can wait outside while I'll erase the traces. Go on Haley." It's kind of strange that he calls my name out like that... gentle and soft. I don't reply and just grab my backpack I had brought with me and leave the abandoned building we were in.

"You don't seem to be very frightened of me. Except for the constant flinching at each sound you hear." Satan comments and as he says that I flinch and take a step aside on the pavement so he could stand next to me. He really is tall. Calling him Satan is so weird. "Speak up your mind, I can see you thinking." Satan then says. "Can.... Can I call you Sunny? Uhm... Calling you Satan is a little weird." I suggest after a moment of overthinking. Maybe he will get mad because it is kind of a ridiculous name after all. But don't you think as well it is a gentle name to be called by? I surely think so.

Satan laughs loudly, showing his ever so white teeth and then taking some deep breaths to calm himself. "Of course you may call me that. Now do you need to say goodbye to anyone?" Sunny asks fruity and I gaze at him for a few seconds. "Say... goodbye? As in forever?" Sunny confirms my question with a slow nod. "You're dead after all. Didn't you see your body laying on the ground? Or the fact that you managed to pick up your backpack, but fell on the ground as soon as you tried to put it on your back?" I shake my head at that. "Well then. That's a first." Sunny mumbles, scratching the back of his head.

An audible thud makes me flinch and I turn around to see someone laying on the grass face down. "Don't worry little Haley, it is just your body. I have used some.... how do you humans call it....yes, magic to make it move. And besides, you are dead, so what is there to fear?" Sunny lightly speaks with a chuckle under his breath and I glance sideways at him. What is there to fear? Everything. People to fear, society, the world even. Sunny keeps chuckling and I set a step sideways in his direction. I now stand half hidden behind his tall, large form and once again glance at the body laying on the ground. "go on, stand up." Sunny commands and I frown for a moment. I am already standing though..... oh wait he's probably speaking to my body. I look at myself, clumsy getting up.

Sunny shakes his head as we watch my body stumble around on the grass in front of us like a drunken dumbass. "no, the other, no, this way!" Sunny tries his best to guide the body and I grin a little upon the funny act. "no, no, don't wander over there, wander over here. Don't fall down now..... no...aaand of course you fall down. Why not." Sunny sighs and I chuckle a little now. Now that I see my body is just a dumb piece of flesh, I decide to have some courage and walk towards it. "here, let me help yoouuuu..." I want to grab the reached out hand from myself, but tumble forwards right into the ground. I immediately come out of it again and stare wide eyed at the grass under my feet.... which now are floating oh my god. I'm floating, what the.... Is this even really happening? Sunny is laughing again and I look at him for a moment. My body stands up now and sunny comes over, placing a hand on my shoulder.... well the shoulder of my now dead body. "Well then, time to make it look like you killed yourself."
