3. Surprise enquiry with the boss

Precap: Sharu reached her office in Besant nagar in chennai.

Sharu's POV:

I reached the office at 8:45am. As soon as I entered the office , MD sir's PA came and said to me "Sharu MD sir unna pakanum maam athanala una ipove sir oda cabin Ku una vara sonaru". (Sharu MD sir wants to see you. So he is asking you to come to his cabin now.)

"OK " I said and I started walking towards the cabin.

I felt that I'm going to lose this job too. Because I have lost lot of jobs before coming and working here. It has been ten months since I joined this company. I have worked really hard all these months. Hope I don't lose this job. (Kadavulae neethan ena kaapathanum) oh god only u have to rescue me.

At vijay sir's cabin:

"May I come in sir" I asked

"Yes Sharu Va Va chairla ukkaru " (yes Sharu come come , sit in the chair) he said

I came inside the cabin sat in the chair. Mr.vijay sat in his chair too. He looked a bit worried.

"Thank you sir"I replied.

"Um..er...Sharu unga amma unaku mapala paka Arambichutangala?" (Sharu , has your mum started looking for bride grooms for your marriage yet?) He asked.

I was shocked. Why is he asking this question. He was just like a father to me. He always saw me and treated as if I was his own daughter since day 1. So may be because of that he is asking I think.

"Illa sir. As I'm the one and only source of income to the family I decided to get married after both my sisters got married." I said boldly and that was the truth too. So why hesitate to tell the truth I thought.

"OK Sharu go and continue your work" he said.

His face was still looked worried. I wonder what makes him worry this much.

I said thank you sir and left his cabin to continue the days work.
