Hoshi fell into step beside Hye Geong.
As they walked, Hoshi kept giving Hye Geong side glances.
Hye Geong took no notice of him, as she concentrated on getting to her detention class.
She can't afford getting extra hours of detention, since there were two hyperactive twin monkeys waiting for her back home.
They reached the detention classroom, but Hoshi stopped Hye Geong before she could enter.
She waited impatiently for him to speak.
"I was wondering...um...do you..do you want to-"
At that moment, someone slung an arm over Hoshi's shoulder.
"Yo, Hoshi. Stop being a lovesick puppy and let Hye Geong go to class already." Lee Seokmin, Hoshi's bestfriend, laughed loudly.
Hye Geong smiled half heartedly, "Yeah. Sorry, Soonyoung. Talk to you later."
"Oh...uh, okay." Hoshi's voice was flat, and disappointed.
Hye Geong went into class quickly, as her heart hammered in her chest loudly.
Was he about to ask me out?
