Lune ran down the castle's main corridor as a wave of fairy fangirls swiftly pursued him. Like water molecules, they slid past each other. Except, this sliding involved a lot more elbowing, and shoving. Lune tried to create many diversions, summoning guards, and blocking their path with any object that he could grasp. He even ripped off his shirt and let the horde of girls engulf it. The diversions slowed them down, but not by much. Girls can be surprisingly fast when they want to be. Especially if they have wings.
Lune continued to speed down the corridor. So close to his destination, he launched himself into the throne room. Guards swiftly shut the door behind him as he got up and ordered for another shirt. When it finally came, his midnight blue shoes and dress pants were completed with a snow white dress shirt. The cool colored clothes matched his magenta eyes and dark blue hair. With that, he commenced with the hearings.
"Next!!!" Lune called after a few hours of hearing peasants complaints, as a fairy stumbled into the room.
"Our village is starving," The fairy pleaded, "Please help us!"
This is what the fairy said, but this is what Lune heard, "Prince Lune! Blah blah bluh starving blabla help us!" Though he didn't really care, he forced on a smile and replied to the request with, "I will do whatever I can to help." The fairy peasant curtsied, then exited satisfied. Lune sighed, "I need a break." He hopped off his throne and went to his room. "I need to get dressed for the great speech father is giving today," Lune mumbled to himself, " It's always such a pain to attend..."
After he got dressed he leisurely strolled through the castle. Lune didn't care if he was late or got in trouble, to him, it was merely another event that caused discomfort in an already bad day. He only got about two hours of sleep the night before because of his busy schedule, chased by fangirls, and forced to listed to the complaints of the town's people. One of them complained to him about how her parents wouldn't let her have a bear...
When he finally got to the balcony, after meandering as much as possible. Lune sighed, "Right on time, as always...." The crowd roared as he stepped up to the ledge looking out over a sea of people. What he saw wasn't much of a surprise anymore, but he still jumped at the sight of it, a mosh pit. What was before him, at the foot of the castle, was a massive mosh pit. From the deepest darkest depths he heard, "I LOVE YOU PRINCE LUNE!!! NO YOU CAN'T HAVE HIM!! HE'S MINE!!" Though it was kind of flattering, it was more terrifying than anything. There was also another comment that Lune didn't hear because it wasn't a blood curdling scream that pierced your eardrums. All the commotion was giving him a headache, so he was excused to get away from the shrill voices and cheers.
He was looking down and covering his ears to try and protect himself from the migraine, but as a result of that, he wasn't looking where he was going and bumped right into a palace guard. They instantaneously started to apologise and ask if he was OK.
Lune struggled to keep standing. Though, his throbbing, intense migraine and buckled knees weren't helping.
"I'm fine..." he choked, feeling nauseous. The guard reluctantly moved out of his way. Lune shuffled all the way back to his room to rest, and only when he reached for the doorknob of his room, he noticed that his hands were covered in blood from how apparently sharp the guard's armor was. He didn't mind. Lune continued to open the door, went to his bed, and layed down. About an hour later he woke up to suddenly realize that his hands had been slit open. Tiny cuts showed red as the deeper ones oozed it. He stared at his hands for a minute, then went to seek out the castle medics.
As he was walking, he began to think about the guard who did this to him. They didn't mean to... he thought, there armor was just unusually sharp, like they use it to fight off strong enemies. They were also wearing a helmet. Why would they wear a helmet in the castle? Why? Deep in his thought, he almost ran into the nurse. She was a sweet lady who always smiled with a plump face and body.
"Oh Lune!" She exclaimed in her cute Brazilian accent, "How are you doing today?!"
Lune smiled, then showed her his hands. She gasped and while talking about safety with knives, she led him to the nurse's office. Whilst she bandaged his hands after putting medicine, she ended her lecture with,
"You know what they say,"
"What do they say Adelaide?"
"It's all Hee Hee Hee Ha Ha Ha, then someone get's hurt and suddenly it's not fun anymore."
Lune then realized she thought he was just playing with friends and was being a dumb prince. She didn't believe that he blocked himself with his hands from the sharpest armor on the planet. He didn't mind, he was just glad his hands were clean and healing. It always feels nice to have new bandages put securely on a wound. It was at that moment when he realized, oh crap! I have an important meeting to be at! He thanked Adelaide for bandaging his hands, then rushed through the castle to the Great hall.
