Chapter 4, Candy Boys

L ended up getting free one day shipping on the clubs dog collars. 8 black dog collars with different coloured moon stones in them. Ones good for, as the website said, 'keeping your nightmares up to date '. L wasn't surprised, he got them from a hard core occult store. They also sold the blood of a virgin, which L almost bought, but decided to put off for another day. It was Thursday after school, and, as promised, the Occult club was meeting today. L found Light in the hallway and walked with him over to the club room, unlocking the door and going inside. Not even two seconds later, in walked Bill with Dipper. Ten minutes past and Alois and Ciel showed up - linking arms. And then showing up five minutes late, was Tobio and Shoyo who walked in fighting about something stupid I'm sure.

L told them to hurry up and sit down, because he was excited to see his club all done up with there collars. Light hadn't even seen his yet because L wanted to wait for a big reveal. L placed the box down on the carpet in the middle of the pentagram and opened it. Sure enough, inside were dog-esque collars with moon jewels.

"Wow! They look so pretty!" Alois said cheerfully.

"Can we pick our own colour of stone?" He asked, L nodded and dumped the contents of the box onto the carpet.

"Go nuts" he said, causing Alois to dive into the pile of collars in search for one of his liking. He snatched up a purple one before anyone else could even react and snapped it around his neck.

"Uh!" He gushed, looking down at it so lovingly his eyes were basically sparkling. He grabbed Ciel around the neck and shook him.

"Get a blue one to match your eyes! Go!" Alois screamed, everyone winced at how high his voice went, but Ciel smiled and went to go grab the collar with the blue jewel. Alois giggled and snuck his finger under the collar, pulling Ciel towards his face. Ciel's face went red and he looked nervously at the ground, eyebrows tilted inwards.

"Awe, annoyed now?" Alois laughed, and Ciel swatted him away, sitting back down in his spot. L caught Dipper staring at them the whole time with a look on his face like he was collecting research and data on how couples behaved.

Every time Alois and Ciel did something like this Dipper would watch them, and then stare at a very oblivious Bill for ten minutes without blinking. L found it odd, but also sweet. As if Dipper was imagining his life with Bill as his boyfriend. L would find himself do this to Light sometimes, it didn't really make his situation worse but it was a nice distraction.

"B-Bill I think you should have the yellow one" Dipper stuttered out nervously. Bill turned to him and raised his eyebrow.

"Why? Did you put a tracker in it?" He asked, Dipper looked surprised, as if he wasn't expecting that response and didn't know what to say in return. L watched as Dipper searched for words. You could do it Dipper, you could talk to him.

"No. I think-" Dipper leaned forward to grab it. "It would look nice on you, yellow does seem to be your colour" Dipper smiled, Bill looked down at the collar in Dippers hands and then at Dippers face. Bill took the collar slowly and them placed it around his neck. He turned to Dipper and let out a "hmm?" as if asking if it looked ok. Dipper nodded.

"You look awesome-sauce" Dipper laughed. Bill handed him the red collar and Dipper took it, putting it on and smiling, showing it off to Bill. Bill punched his shoulder playfully.

"There you go- looks great" he laughed, Dipper giggled and L felt a pang of hope in watching the two bond. How adorable. The fluffy moment was soon broken by Shoyo and Tobio diving into the pile of remanding collars and fighting over one of them.

"I want the black one!" Shoyo yelled, tugging on the collar with the orange stone.

"No! I want the black one!" Tobio yelled, yanking back on it. Alois clapped his hands together and giggled.

"Olé!" He said, and then Bill and Dipper started chanting for the two of them to fight, causing Ciel to join in.

"Fight! Fight! Fight!" They yelled as Tobio and Shoyo throw punched and climbed all over each other on the floor. L looked at them in confusing. Were they not just yesterday chanting for Shoyo and Tobio to kiss? Now there chanting for them to fight? What the fuck was going on in this club?!

"Hey!" Light yelled, causing everyone to stop. Light grabbed the collar out of Shoyo's hand and then looped it on himself.

"I'm getting the black one now, because you two were fight neither of you get it. I'm pretty sure that's a lesson we all learn in kindergarden" Light explained. L looked at the remaining collars and spotted the one with the white jewel. He snatched it before the two could start fighting again.

"And I'll have this one, we kind of match Light, black and white" L observed, Light nodded, sending a smile L's way.

"Yes. It would seem that way" Light stated, L let out a nervous chuckle and then looked at Shoyo and Tobio as they picked up the last two collars - Shoyo's was orange, Tobio's was green. After the collar's were settled, L walked over to a book shelf in the room and pulled out four black books. He placed them in the middle of the pentagram rug.

"So. Now that we all look like successful candy boys, let's get to being occultish" L said, handing out the books. Alois began flipping through the pages and giggling widely.

"Look at this picture! A detailed description of how to dismember people to please the rulers of the underworld, amazing! Look at all the blood the colour of red lust and ketchup packets" Alois was going off again, something seemed weird about him to L, like he was all over the place crazy for no reason at all. Ciel seemed to keep him grounded.

"Are we actually gonna dismember people for sacrifices?" Shoyo asked, L shook his head.

"Were not aloud to according to the principle" L said, Alois whined, and Shoyo let out a sigh of relief.

"Thank god. I wouldn't want to dismember someone." He admitted. Tobio elbowed him.

"I bet you I got dismember a body faster then you!" Tobio started, Shoyo was about to retaliate when Light shushed them both, then cleared his throat.

"Turn to page 30, on there you will find a diagram of a pentagram, labeled and all. Were gonna attempt to make one to contact a Shinigami with it," Light explained. Slight terror spread across everyone's face accept L's, seeing as he knew that was the ultimate goal.

"Contact a Shinigami? Isn't that bad" Dipper spoke, Light shrugged at him.

"Probably" he smirked, L laughed at him. Dipper shivered. Bill shrugged.

"It would be interesting to see if it works." Bill added. Ciel looked at the book, gulping. Alois didn't look so happy either.

"Shinigami's? And demons and stuff?" Alois spoked, worriedly. L and Light nodded. Alois giggled and slipped his hand under Ciel's eyepatch, Ciel swatted his arm away, keeping his eyepatch in place.

"I think we've stumbled into the perfect club Mr. Phantomhive"
