In my entire life, I would have never thought that I would be chosen to head to the lost city. Like no one has been there for almost 21 years. I don't get why I was chosen, the most likely reason was because I have part demon and part angel blood in me.

My mother was a half-blooded angel while, I believe, my father was a full blooded demon. I don't have any friends because of the demon blood in me. The boys and girls my age, always make fun of me along with their parents. My mother died when I was 13 and I never had a father figure around me. The reason I'm despised by these people is because demons are the cause of why we left our home and many of our family members died since I have demon blood in me, they say I'm a demon child.

I've even been beat up by kids when I was younger. We live in the forest, along with almost every good mythical creature you could probably think of. Our homes were built by elves and fairies gave us light. We have been their allies since the attack happens, many creatures became scared because a half-angel and a demon could have a child. I mean like, in most books angels and demons are enemies but somehow my mother fell in love with one. I know it's weird but love is love, no matter how it looks. I just hope, I can too and show that not all demons are as bad as they think... maybe.

Our little town is now, mostly in the trees. There are very few pure blooded humans because of the demons attacks. Usually we would have to hide from demons who wonder around the forests. Even me since I have angel blood.

The story of why this happened is because people being mean, rude, ungrateful and many more things caused them to attack. A wise old witch told the remaining humans, at the time, that a special 16 year old girl would save them from destruction and help bring back their home.

Also on the way to the lost city, as we call it now, the girl would meet five other companies with abilities as strong as hers. The witch even told us the powers the six would have:

1. Control of all elements
2. Lightning
3. Fire
4. Nature
5. Water/Ice
6. Super Strength

I should tell you about me.. I forgot, sorry!

Having demon blood in me, my hair is dark brown and I'm always tan. The angel blood gives highlights of a chestnut color in my hair, my eyes are blue and my voice is light. My name is Willow Archer.

I have no idea what kind of powers I have, or even if I get powers. Because I had no one, really, to teach me how to get my powers to show.

The entire town looked at me as I was by the chief of decisions, a.k.a; my grandfather. He had pulled me up onto the stage to make the announcement about me being the chosen one to save them all. The problem was that no one cheered, clapped or even said a word. It was like a huge bomb fell on them. Which, even I had felt like that when I was first told.

A few minutes later, you could hear small murmuring In the crowd. I could hear what a few of them said.

"What's going on? This must be a joke."

"He has to be mistaken. That
... that thing can't be the savor."

"She is a demon, how would a demon save us when they're the cause of this?"

It had seemed like the chief couldn't hear what some were saying. All he was doing was looking at them. I'm guessing I have better hearing than normal people or even elders. The chief just then coughed, which was fake, clearing his throat.

"I understand how you must feel bout the she-demon being the savor, but it isn't a mistake or a joke. Minx, confirmed that she is and we must believe her and her visions. The one chosen can become the savor or destroyer of our kind. It's all in her decisions. If she accepts it, we will be saved but if not then we will have to keep hidin' from the hell's minions until we find anotha' way." He spoke out to the crowd with a serious tone.

They, again, started to murmur to each other about the chances. Once done, the chief and crowd stared at me for an answer. I, for the first time, felt speechless and unsure about what to choose. I stood there, thinking about every con and pro about agreeing and not agreeing.

Agreeing
Pro's:
-Saving everyone.
-Seeing the lost city
-May find love
-Become a hero to the people

Con's:
-Die trying
-Become to scared to do anything

Not agreeing
Pro's:
-Stay Alive

Con's:
-Everyone can be killed
-Continue to be picked on
-Everyone will continue to dispise me
-People hate me even more
-May have a early death bed

Okay.... looks like agreeing may be the best bet. Taking a slow and unsure breath, I look over at the chief.

"I agree." I said with a blank face, trying to hide my uncertainty.

Claps and only a few cheers and whistles could be heard. They must have believed the Chief about what Minx, the witch, had told him.

I got pushed by the Chief towards my built-in home in an old oak tree to get ready for a long journey, starting tomorrow.

The town I live in, Luton, is about 600 miles away from the Lost city. The only transportation is walking which would to a while plus I also have to walk around to find the other five before going to the city.

So let us hope, I don't die after this.
