CHAPTER 5
"Oh, River your back, where were you?" Cinna cried as he rushed up to him. Before River could reply, Lucia cut in.
"Wait, that's not important, what's important is that how do you even know this dude, that you called Zylen?"
"Well because I saw him when I was walking back and he explained to me what his goal was,"replied River, his voice sounded as hollow as always.
Alice turned to Zylen and said, "Okay we'll trust you for now but any wrong move from you, don't expect to be let off!"
"Yay! Thank you..Um...Alice, I believe you were called," exclaimed Zylen.
"Sorry to interrupt but I think we should get on with our mission," I said a little awkwardly. Alice nodded.
"Winter's right, Zylen I'll tell you what the mission is later...."
"Actually, sorry to say but I heard you conversation from outside so I know what it's about."
"Well then, lets head out to the town to investigate, it's getting dark too, it's perfect," Alice said heading for the door, "Oh and also, I just remembered that now we actually have the same amount of members as the opponent's team, seven members."
"Wait seven members, there's only six here," I questioned Alice's theory.
"Well, the other member is like super lazy and is also a shut-in, here follow me, I guess you should see who he is," Alice said. Alice headed further into the house as she came to a door which was locked shut, Alice pointed at the lock as it budged open. A boy sat on a whirling chair, his dark red hair was messy as he sucked on a lollipop, he tilted his head as he turned to face us.
"Hi guys, haven't seen you in ages,"he said as he paused his game on the computer screen.
"Hi, Kira, you're still such a stupid idiot, sitting in front of the computer screen and sucking on your lollipop which I swear you have been for the last five or so years I've known you," said Alice a little with a teasing voice. Kira stuck out his tongue at her and went back to his game.
"Actually could you help us solve our mission?" asked Lucia.
"Maybe," he said as a floating cup with tea floated towards him, he grabbed hold of it and took a drink. My eyes couldn't help but open wide at his power.
"If your wondering, Winter and Zylen, his ability is telekinesis, and apparently he only has it because he's too lazy to move," said Alice. "Anyways, it's about time to head out," she then turned to face Kira and said "if you want to come then meet us outside."

I was about to grab a normal sword from the shed when, River caught my hand, he handed me a glistering gold sword, it was a sword that was similar to his which also contained magic in it.
"Um...Thanks, River," I said, I couldn't comprehend why he'd give it to me, but I felt a shy tone in my voice.
"Those swords didn't seem to suit you so I gave you my other one," he said, I disliked the hollowness in his voice but I couldn't do anything about it, it was just the way he was, emotionless.
Suddenly, Kira came running after us.
"Wait for me!" he cried as he ran slowly towards us, he was awfully slow to be in any agency.
"Wow, haven't seen you run or even get off your chair in ages!" Lucia laughed, making us giggle along with her. After everyone got their weapons we left to go to the main town, but then Alice's phone buzzed again in her pocket. She revealed a impatient look on her face, but as she answered it, her expression lightened, another mission seemed to show up.
"Zylen and Kira come with me, we've got another mission, this mission should be easier than your one, so us three can handle it," Alice said as she turned to us.
"Are you sure you guys can manage?" Cinna said worriedly.
"We'll be fine, take care of Lucia," Alice said as a joke for we all knew that Cinna liked Lucia. He smiled and ran after our group.
"Tell them to appoint a temporary leader to make things easier!" Alice shouted after him. That was the last word we heard from her before she was completely out of our sight.
After we walked for a while, we reached the main town, Alice had set off in the other direction from us towards the slums, their mission remained unknown to us. We rested upon a small hill just outside of the town's reach.
"Okay, know for the leader, who would nominate themselves or someone?" Lucia asked.
"I think it should be River, he has good tactics and is worthy of one," Cinna said expressing his thoughts. River directed his eyes elsewhere, avoiding anyone having eye contact with him. I smiled in agreement, as Lucia nodded with a grin. Suddenly River spoke up.
"Well it looks like we won't have time to discuss that," He said as he dodged a slicing sword. "Tch."
"SEPARATE!" I shouted as I jumped out away from the others with River. A man grinned at us, he held up his blood stained sword ready to strike again.
