Brick by brick my 9 year old self is trapped inside herself,
fears sealing any chance of innoncence away,
walls holding no chance of crashing down,
ten mile high, no light, no air, suffocation.
Blinding panic as loneliness grips her,
shakes, torments, scars her fragile composure.
Brick by brick the mask begins to slip,
her cold, clammy fingers tearing apart her logic,
she'll cling to anything, to nothing,to everything.
Scattered memories, shattered hopes, broken dreams,
swirl , blur , sicken her.
Brick by God-damned brick,
her life falls to pieces.
