Hearts are as fragile as glass. You don't realize the pain until you step on it, until the heart is broken. Alas, until you do realize the pain, it will haunt you until the day you die.
Time goes by fast when you're in love. You never think time could stop, until it does.
"Crystal, I love you." Jake stuttered nervously.
Crystal smiled compassionately. Suddenly, the smile faded.
"Follow me, Jake." Crystal said with her heels clicking behind her.
Crystal started her car and Jake got in as the engine roared. They drove in silence.
After about ten minutes Jake asked, "Where are we going?"
"To your house."
"Why?"
"To drop you off home."
"Why?"
"Because I'm breaking up with you. "
"Haha, very funny."
Crystal slammed on the breaks, "Look, I love you Jake, I really do, but I'm not in love with you. I'm in love with someone else. And I've been dating him for two weeks."
"Wait, so you've been cheating on me?" Jake choked.
"Yeah, I'm really sorry I couldn't help myself. Jesse is just so... sexy!"
"Jesse... Jesse Maxwell!?"
"Yes, the captain of the basketball team."
"You know what, I'll walk home!" Jake yelled feeling inadequate.
"Don't act so hostile," Crystal yelled out the passenger window. "Otherwise girls will think you're insignificant."
As Crystal's car drove away leaving Jake in the middle of nowhere he looked at his clenched fists, ready for revenge.
