Brothers Forever

Chapter 5

Once lunch was over the turtles and sky went their separate ways, Raph and Mikey went to go play some video games, Donnie went to his lab to work on his various experiments, lastly Leo and sky went to the surface to scout out the city.

The two eldest ran across the rooftops at speeds no one thought possible....if someone were to see them it would just be blurs zooming past them, soon they came to a stop on top of a old library close to April and Casey's apartment.

The female dragon and male turtle scanned the city....suddenly two birds caught their attention, the two bird were midnight black flying side by side not daring to break formation. The two eldest watched with small smiles on their faces before they returned to their patrol.

The sun shown brightly it's warm rays bathed the city in a cozy blanket of heat, humans walked casually on sidewalks wearing summer clothes while they talked to their friends or were on phones....traffic was alright but was still slow since 5 o'clock was nearing.

The two eldest mutants stood on a rooftop having finished their patrol....they were just about to head back when a pair of caws was heard over head, the blue clad leader and female dragon looked up the same birds from before were in the sky.

The birds were still side by side but something was off....the birds didn't fly at the same calm air speed then, no they were flying away from something. Gun fire soon sounded and both of the birds crashed to the rooftop, Sky and Leo pulled of their katanas getting ready for any attacks.

Crystal and Ocean blue eyes scanned for enemies, they held their katanas at ready....their glares could melt even the strongest of metals. Just one glance from the two eldest mutants would send soldiers who have been to war into a panic.

Suddenly the sound of gun fire met their ears once more using their speed to quickly deflected the bullets, Sky used her dragon senses to find the attackers. Without warning the female dragon grabbed Leo and launched into the air, the attackers jumped out into view aiming their guns at the two mutants.

Sky smirked along with Leo, "You ready to do this sky," at his question the female dragon dropped Leo and folded her wings causing them both to plummet to the rooftop. The attackers gasped but kept their guns aimed some even shot at the two falling mutants.

Just before they hit the rooftop sky caught Leo and snapped out her wings using the momentum they had gained to knock up some dust temporarily blinding the attackers. At this advantage the two eldest mutants attacked taking down the men in seconds....sky lifted one of the men's sleeve revealing his shoulder seeing the symbol that all the Diablos had tattooed on their shoulders before turning back to leo.

"Just as I thought...They work for Vincent....he used them like pawns," the female dragons voice clearly showed disgust towards Vincent and his way of doing things. The male turtle nodded before speaking "We should probably start heading back to the lair....besides now we know that they are willing to attack us despite their chances of winning."

Sky's voice was soft "They are getting impatient....cocky *smirks softly* they are showing us their biggest weakness." The blue clad turtle was clearly confused which is not normal for him "What do u mean sky....they are showing us what weakness?"

The female dragon turned to Leo and smirked....Leo could see the plan being formed just by looking at her, "Their weakness is they will do anything and everything to take us down even if it costs their lives....in doing this they will leave themselves open because they will be too focused on their task that if we strike they will easily fall."

Leo soon returned Sky's smirk understanding what she was getting at....and with that last smirk both mutants took off flipping down into the alley way....lifting the manhole and dropping down into the darkness of the sewers.

Having just got back to the lair the two eldest could see Donnie sitting on the couch working on his laptop while Raph chased a screaming Mikey in circles.....so basically a normal day at the lair, the eldest turtle looked to Sky and motioned to the three youngest.

Leo didn't even have to say anything for Sky to know what he wanted....so she snapped out her wings launching into the air before flapping her wings forward quickly causing a strong gust of air to knock the three younger turtles over.

Mikey and Raph skidded across the floor on their shells while Donnie was knocked off the couch....the female dragon landed on the ground pulling her wings close to her back.

The three younger turtles yelled at the two eldest "What was that for?!" Causing Leo and Sky to laugh slightly....the female dragon soon spoke "While we were out we learned that the Diablos are willing to fight us no matter what the circumstances are....meaning we have an advantage."

Leo nods and continues from where Sky left off "They will leave themselves open to any attacks so strike hard and fast....because the faster we take out the gang the faster we can take out Vincent."

The three younger turtles listened closely surprised that the fight of their lives is nearing faster then they thought.

Sky crossed her arms over her chest and spoke her voice tearing through the air like a knife "Now get some rest because tomorrow you are going to train harder than you've ever trained," with that the two eldest left the room heading to the dojo.

The three younger turtles exchanged glances before they each went their separate ways, Donnie to his lab, Mikey watched tv while Raph read a comic...during this the two eldest sparred each other.

They sent out powerful attacks moving at lightning speeds but even with all the strength and speed behind the attacks they were each deflected. Their katanas clashed sending out loud clashes of metal on metal it was a wonder how their weapons didn't snap on contact.

This went on for the rest of the night and even after the three youngest turtles went to sleep and two eldest stayed up all night training silently having to much energy to rest.

Leo's and Sky's minds were focused on one thing....well one person....and that person is,

Vincent

Leader of the Diablos...the man that brought them so much pain for years...the man that they would finally kill...their vow stays in place that no matter what happens to them they will kill Vincent even if they fall in battle.
