The Aftermath

Back at the office we're bombarded with questions, about what took so long, why Eugene isn't as dressed up as he was when he left, why is his nose bleeding, why do I look like I'm about the cry, or had I been crying. As soon as Zach sees me though he just hugs  me, and I let it all out, I don't cry I scream into his shoulder since we're outside and it's just the try guys and Katie with us. Finished with my scream I step back from Zach's hug and he laughs.
"You good now?" He asks I nod
"So what happened?" Keith asks
"I may or may not have gotten into a fight," Eugene says with a smile.
He's a freak of nature, I swear my life on it.
"Why?" Ned asks.
"Because I will never allow myself to be made of for being Asian," Eugene shrugs,"you guy had to have seen this coming by now"
"Richard was being an asshole," I say rolling my eyes and Zach frowns.
"Hey you can stay with me until he leaves if you want, or we could stay with you!" Zach says excitedly. I laugh
"Sure if you guys want too," I say.
"Can I bring Ariel?" Ned asks.
"Well of course! I do have four bedrooms I'm not using," I say," and Ariel just helped me finish my basement! I'm sure she'd love to show you guys"
"So it's settled we're staying the night with Beau!" Eugene says,"Katie you should come too"
"It's girls night sorry guys," Katie smiles,"but raincheck"
After we make plans for the night we go inside. Eugene and I bring our pups to a different set to talk about why we chose them, why we adopted instead of going to a breeder, you those questions.
"I picked Freakshow, because of his little tail, unlike normal purebred German Shepards he doesn't have the long straight tail, he has a little curly stump of a tail, which made him undesirable to other people for some reason and it landed him in the pound after being abandoned on gravel road back in the Midwest," I say stroking Freakshow's head," when I adopted him he was underweight, and malnourished, and now he's happy, healthy, and a little chubby, I don't know how I lived without him before, he's like the most dependable man I've ever met" I laugh and catch Eugene rolling his eyes at my comment. Then it's Eugene's turn, Freakshow and I leave not hanging around to hear Eugene's answers to the same question. I walk back to my desk and begin editing a video I've been working on, it's a Tasty video, and I'm just adding in the directions and music before I upload it. Then I am pretty much doing research for my next video that I have no idea what I'm going to do. Freakshow cuddles himself up around my legs and goes to sleep. I work on my video about Freakshow for hours until I'm interrupted by Ashly and Tiny hand.
"Why you cry Beau? You're to pretty to cry," Ashly says as tiny hand stroking my cheek with her finger. I just look at her.
"Oh tiny hand you understand me," I say pulling my headphones off all the way,"are you live streaming tiny hand?" Ashly nods,"what are you doing today tiny hand?" I ask.
"Petting all the puppies!" Ashly says before bending down to pet Freakshow with her tiny hand puppet. I laugh and stand up causing freak to stand as well, sitting at my side accepting the love from the tiny hand.
"Are you staying late tonight?" Zach asks joining me at my desk, I shake my head,"well then let's get going!"
"I'll see you later Ashly!" I say picking up Freakshow's leash leading the way out of the office.
"So the surprise video didn't happen," I say glancing over at Zach as we walk to his car.
"Um yeah well today took an unexpected turn, so we pushed it back but it'll be good I promise! You'll love it" Zach smiles.
"Are you going to set me up on a date with someone?" I ask he smiles a little wider .
"Maybe, maybe not," he say getting in I open the back door and let Freakshow get in before sitting in the passenger seat.
"Zach if it's you, you can tell me." I say
" well since you and your fiancé just broke up we decided that we should wait a little bit give you time to heal, you know, and no it's not me," he laughs,"you're too much like a sister to me these days, but I do know the guy, and he can be everything you ever dreamt of,"
I roll my eyes,"sure Zach"
"Trust me, when you find out who you won't believe it"
We lead the way to my house, where my fiancé is still moving things out.
"Wow, you didn't wait at all before you started whoring around huh?" Richard asks I sigh and walk inside dropping my keys on the counter and letting Freakshow off of his leash the guys followed me inside as well I guess. I flop down on my couch and the guys take their usual spots like they did then all us used to hang out before I knew Richard was cheating on me, the only difference is instead of my head being in Richard's lap Eugene took his place. So I'm lying with my head in Eugene's lap and my feet in Zach's, while Keith and Becky sit on the other part of my L shaped sectional, and Ned and Ariel are on the love seat, which fits the two of them.

We honestly don't do much we just wait for Richard to finish moving the rest of his things out of my house, while we try to decide what we want to do tonight. I personally could use a drink.
