Back at headquarters, people are moving about in a hurry.  Still stricken with fear, I follow the man to his office.  His hair seemed to have greyed in the past 45 minutes.  My hands are still shaking, thoughts racing through my head in a craze.

"What is going on?"

"That house is not safe.  We are working on finding you a new place."

"Why isn't it safe?  What is everybody hiding from me?"

"There are things that we just cannot reveal to the public about certain matters."

"What does that have to do with my house?"

"Your house, Ms. Green, is one of those matters. End of convorsation."

"But...."

"End of convorsation!  As soon as we find a place for you we will let you know.  For now, you will stay in our privte quarters.  Agent Waterson, please escort Ms. Green to her room in our private quarters."

"Yes sir."

What could they possibly be hiding?  What could be so terrifying about that house that they don't want the public to know about? But why does everybody in town, but me, know the history of the house?  I have to know wht they are hiding.  But how?

"Here is your room. I suggest you don't get on his bad side."

Before I have a chance to ask what he means he disappeared into the hallway. What could he have meant by that? What would he do to me? Could he do anything to me? Things have seem to have gotten worse.
