Honey-senpai dragged you by the arm down the hallway, Mori-senpai following behind. "But, Senpai," You protested, "Surely the Host Club isn't free. There's no way I could afford going." You tried wriggling out of his grasp to no avail.
"Don't worry, [n/n]-chan, I'll handle it! You're fine~!" He beamed.
"You can even eat cake with me!" The small second year offered.
"I don't think I should." You refused as you neared the third music room.
"All you ever do is study and practice; you need a break, [n/n]-chan. So come eat cake with me!" Honey cheered, opening up the doors.
He dragged you in behind him. Fear pumped through your veins. This was wear Kyoya spent his free time. "Um... Honey-senpai... it's not the cake that's the problem..." You began to confess, "You see, since last yea-" You were cut off by a voice behind you.
"What are you doing here, [l/n]?" You froze up; it was Kyoya.
"O-ootori, I-I" You stuttered.
Luckily, Honey came to your rescue. "She's with me, Kyo-chan~!" He sang.
The nickname 'Kyo-chan' got your attention and you stifled a laugh.
"I'll go get the cake~!" Honey ran off.
Kyoya glared at you, "Is something funny, [l/n]?" He growled.
You tensed, "N-no, n-nothing, Ootori." You looked down, attempting to hide the shame on your face.
"May I have a word with you?" Kyoya politely offered, gesturing to outside the club room. Of course, you knew that he was only being polite for show.
You followed him into the hall.
"I thought I made it clear that I don't want you near me!" He fumed at you. This was the exact reason you avoided the host club this whole time.
"It's not my fault that Honey-senpai wanted me to come." You retorted, trying to keep your voice from yelling at him.
Kyoya backhanded you in the face, "Don't talk back to me!" He ordered you, "And you aren't to come to the host club anymore, understood?" He demanded. Now he was really making you mad.
You hadn't noticed the rest of the host club beginning to eavesdrop on your conversation through a crack in the door.
"So, what? I'm not allowed to have a slice of cake with Honey-senpai if I want to!? That's rubbish, that is!" You raised your voice, "Why do you have this need to control every aspect of my life!!?" You angrily stormed away, forgetting about Honey-senpai who was waiting for you.
You made sure to stay away from the host club for the rest of the year. Not because Kyoya ordered you to, but because he angered you. You didn't want to be anywhere near there.
