I ran over to my older brother by a year and hugged him. "Jer I'm so sorry. It's going to be okay. I'm so sorry."

"How long Lia?" Jer asked hugging back.

"Two weeks. I'm so sorry I wanted to stay longer but I can't." I felt Jer's arms let me go and I sat on the kitchen counter.

And that's when my favourite family member walked in. "Uncle John!" I exclaimed as I ran over and hugged him.

"Lucia!" John muttered and I ran over to him and he hugged me as I sobbed over my dead parents.

When I was finished my eyes were red and puffy and I sat myself on the kitchen counter. Then Aunt Jenna and Elena walked in and once they saw me they ran over to me not even acknowledgeing Jeremy's and John's presence.

Mascara was running down my face as I watched my parents coffins lowered into the ground. At least half the town were here and even though I'd already been here for almost two weeks I hadn't talked to any of my old friends yet and I wasn't planning to either. Tomorrow morning I was leaving for school and I couldn't wait to get back to all my friends but I would really miss my family which was the one downside to going to boarding school
