Tris POV.

He takes me down to the pit where Zeke stands with two drinks.
"Man what took you so lo-...." He stops staring at me. "Tris?" He asks.
"Hi Zeke." I smile.

Eventually Shauna and Cara join us and I tell them on how I actually survived. And after a while Tobias decides to take me back to his, or our as he considers apartment. He stops me right outside the door and puts a finger to his lips telling me to be quiet.
"Hear that?" He asks. I listen carefully and hear squeels and laughter of a girl and a younger girl. I bight my lip,
"You have a girlfriend.. I'm so sorry Tobias I shouldn't have kissed you I'll-"
"No Tris," he says putting a hand on my shoulder, "That girl is Christina, what I want you to hear is the little girl's voice, the girl she is babysitting." I stand there for a moment listening and then after a while I whisper,
"I'm lost." He laughs and says,
"I don't know if you remember, but you were pregnant before you died. They saved the baby and now we have a beautiful baby girl, her name is Èclair, just like you've always wanted." I look at my feet. And repeat his words,
"Èclair.. Oh my gosh." I look up to him and smile.
"Shall we go in?" I nod and he opens the door. Christina looks up to see Tobias standing in the doorframe  and I'm outside on the wall so she can't see me.
"Hey Four! You're back early."
"Yea I felt like heading back. How was Èclair?"
"She was a great little girl tonight we watched lots of movies!" Èclair seems to be jumping up and down and I hear her feet pitter patter to Tobias.
"Daddy!" She yells and he picks her up. Tobias then goes inside, carrying Èclair in his arms, getting ready for bed, and  I stand in the doorway, Christina is sitting on the floor on her knees where her and Èclair must've been playing, looking the other way.
"Chris." I say, and she looks over. Her jaw drops and she sulks into a crumpled form and cries into her hands. I walk over to her and crouch down next to her and rub her back.
"Christina it's alright, we just need to talk about it." Tobias has already taken Èclair to her room right when he entered the apartment, so she didn't see me.

-

Christina eventually calms down and we sit on the couch together along with Tobias, Èclair is in her room asleep. Christina eventually takes a deep breath,
"Someone please tell me what the hell going on. Was this all a joke?" She pleads. And of course I tell her how I'm alive.

-

Christina and I hugged it out and she is glad I'm back, she just left now so me and Tobias are the only ones left awake. He pulls me into a hug so casually as if everything past never happened. He sighs into my hair and says,
"I love you." I smile into his chest.
"I love you too." His grip loosens and he goes to the kitchen,
"Are you hungry? Did you eat on the way to Chicago?" I shake my head.
"No I'm fine thank you though." He laughs,
"Tris I don't want you to feel like nothing here belongs to you, I want us to be the way things were. Anything that's mine is yours too. This is our home, you're my girlfriend, and we have a beautiful child together." I smile down at my shoes,
"I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who wants to go back to what we were before." He walks over to me and kisses me passionately and says,
"I love you no more less than I did in Factionless, or initiation."

Tobias POV.

I wake up in my bed but not alone, I look to my right and see my one and only love Tris, looking so peaceful as she sleeps. I'm going to introduce her to her daughter.

-

Tris POV.

I wake up in our sunny apartment and notice Tobias isn't in bed. Refreshed I get up and walk into the hallway. I see a path of light on the carpet and I walk down to the open doorway, and see a pastel blue room with pink carpet on the floor. I see a young girl, probably around three, she has short blonde hair like me. I poke my head into the bedroom and speak up.
"Hello," I say smiling. She looks back and I see that she has the same grey eyes as me as well.
"Hello," she says. She then turns back to her toys and continues to play. I smile and walk to the living room, which is open to the kitchen. Tobias is in the kitchen sitting at the dining table, staring at a cup of coffee tired. I rub his back still standing and bend down to rest my chin on his shoulder, I eventually wrap my arms around his torso and hug him, my chin still on his shoulder.
"Hey," I say.
"Good morning," he replies groggily, but happy at the same time. "Listen.. I was wondering, are you up to getting to know Èclair? I mean she's your daughter," he finishes. I smile,
"I already said hello to her but of course I will." He takes my hand and kisses the back of it,
"Èclair! Could you come here for a sec?" He calls. Eventually Èclair toddles over to Tobias and claps her hands. Tobias lifts her up onto his leg and I sit down in front of them, she stares at me with wonder.
"Èclair, do you remember how I always talk about mommy and how I miss her?" She nods. "She'll be turning four soon," Tobias says to me with a wink. "Anywho. This girl right here, is mommy. The girl I missed, remember you said you couldn't wait to see her?" Èclair looks awfully confused with the overload of info I speak,
"Come here Èclair," I hold out my hand. She shyly takes my hand and I walk her over to the floor mirror, and crouch with my face beside hers.
"Do you see how the colour of our eyes are the same?" She touches her finger to her bottom lip and nods slightly smiling.
"And do you see how our hair is the same colour?" She nods again and claps her hands once and giggles.
"We are like that because I'm your mommy.." I say. I look over to Tobias in the mirror and he's smiling. She turns to me and hugs me.
"Mommy," she sighs into my shirt. I rub her back slowly up and down and pick her up and sit her on my lap, on the chair I once sat in, across from Tobias.
"I'm glad she's as accepting as she is." He says smiling. I lean over forcing Èclair into an odd crouch, making her laugh and squeel. I kiss Tobias passionately.. I'm glad we're here.
