Brian's POV
That was a lot easier than I thought. Matthew is currently pinned to the ground unable to talk and unable to move.

I can feel the earth shake. No doubt Andy is nearby. He probably just jumped. I hear a crash from the opposite direction. Alicia walks almost completely silent. That leaves Isabelle. I head off in her direction.

When I arrive, I see Isabelle walking toward me with a hood over her face. She looks up and I drop to the ground. She looks around and puts her head back down. Good. She didn't see me. I crawl around and jump up. Silence is golden. I sneak up and knock her feet out from under her. She falls to the ground. I grab her and tie her to a tree. The one that Matthew cut down. I pull off her hoodie leaving her in a short sleeve shirt. I mean seriously. Who wears a hoodie in the middle of summer. I tie her hoodie around her mouth so she can still breath out of her nose but she can't yell or scream. I leave her there.

"Sorry about this." I say as I go to where I last heard Andy.

Andy's POV
I jump off the edge of a cliff a good three miles away from Brian's base. My landing sends a shockwave through the ground. Crap. I probably sent a obvious sign that I'm here. Pity. It was pretty cool. From the famous movies I've seen, I pretty sure that regular people love this type of thing. Anyway, after I land, I walk out of the small crater I made. When I'm out, I press my ear to the ground. Footsteps. It's getting closer, wait. The footsteps are getting fainter. I hear a small crash of a body hitting the ground. It's probably Brian fighting with Isabelle. The fight wasn't long enough for it to be anyone else. I hear Brian dragging Isabelle away. Wow. It must be hard for Brian to fight a friend, not that he showed that for Matthew.

Wait, behind me. I spin around. Brian. How? Right arm covered with fresh bandages. Walking with a limp. Probably from his fight with Matthew.

"Brian... Why?" I ask.

"This is the third time someone has asked me this. Why can't you tell each other telepathically." He replies exasperated.

That is actually a good idea. I close my eyes and wait.

When I open my eyes, Brian is way above me. His katana-like sword raised. The sky darkens. He took the bait. The earth in front of me explodes with the force of his sword. I raise my hands and two hands made out dirt and stone follows. The trap Brian in a cage woven from my own earthen oversized hands.

"This will be your prison until the council decides on your punishment for your betrayal and attempted murder of our teammates." I grin. I beat Brian this quickly. Matthew is going to be so jealous.

Something blunt rams itself into the center of my back. I get knocked off my feet and hit the earth prison I made earlier. A sharp stab of pain erupts in my ribs. Probably fractured or maybe even broken. It feels like my chest is being burned over an open fire. I ignore the black spots that cloud my eyes and turn around. I see Brian standing their with the hilt of his sword pointed toward me. He hit me with the hilt. That explains why I'm not dead though. I slowly raise my hand. A platform of earth forms around me, making it so I can see the battle, but my body doesn't move. I raise the platform into the air. There, I summon a wave of dirt to fight Brian. I watch as Brian dodges. I make another hand of earth and curl it into a fist and swing at him. This time, he floats just above the fist, but the fist gets a lot closer. Eventually, Brian will get tired. Of course, using my powers this much is also going to drain me too.

This is a test to see who can outlast each other.
