CHAPTER 3: Assembly Required

TAOCLAN'S P.O.V

Timber Prime. The first and least powerful member of the council. I didn't know how HE would get here. I was sure I traveled off their territory. But he did as well. He must have been looking for something. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "I should say the same to you!" He barked. "At this point I'm just ready to hurt you!" He was getting very annoying. "Just let us pass and mind your own business!" I said. "Make me! You're nothing! You're just a mistake! Nobody cares about you!" He screeched. I couldn't take it anymore. I was furious. I walked up to him, holding in my anger, then slammed him to the ground. Down he fell, like a mighty oak. He was obviously hurt when he said, "Y..y..you psychopath! I will report you to the council immediately! You're dead!" He got up and took off. "What's going on?!" Starla asked sounding upset. "That was a member of the Council Of The Greatest Wolves. They are the jerks that kicked me out of my pack for no reason." I replied. She calmed down. "Well, he's gone now. We are our own pack now I guess," she said. "Yea, but we should continue down this cave. Whatever's at the end better be worth it." We continued walking. "What's that?" Said Starla. It was a light. "Let's go!" I exclaimed. We ran to it then soon discovered we had ran through a land cut. But then we saw something. It was 2 other wolves! We went closer and one of them looked at me and said with a smile, "Greetings Conrad!"

SLUSH'S P.O.V

Me and Shadowfur were taking a well deserved rest. We had been at it all day and we were ready for a break. But before we could even close our eyes, 2 wolves just came out of nowhere just like they were running for dear life. I was so glad that we weren't the only woles lost in this forest! "Greetings Conrad!" I said to one of them. "Who are you?" He responded. "My name's Slush and that fellow over there is Shadowfur," I answered. "My name's Starla and he's Taoclan," said the other one. Then Taoclan spoke. "We are just trying to get by and find somewhere to settle." "Maybe we should all stay together. The more the merrier, right?" I told him. "Sure. But we should call it a day. I think we've all been through something today." He said. And he was right.
