I've been ignoring Ryder for a week since we got into the argument, and honestly, I kinda miss his company. His cocky, stubborn, annoying, flirty self. Of course, I would never admit that to him or anybody in general, they'd probably tease me about it. He's been trying to talk to me, but I just walk away and pretend I don't see or hear his presence. To say he's frustrated and annoyed would be and understatement. Since he sits with us at lunch, I being the best friend I can possibly be, talk to everybody at the table except him. He try's to get my attention by calling my name, or eating off my tray, but I don't give in. Even if it hurts me to see him grabbing my precious food.
I'm currently walking to my locker to put a couple of stuff away and then head to the cafeteria, I usually walk with Juily beside me, but she is currently 'sick'. What I mean is she didn't come to school because she had a Geography exam she didn't study for.
After inserting and twisting my combination, I opened the locker door and stuffed my books. I heard a pair of heels click behind me and I sighed rolling my eyes. Of course it would be Amanda.
"Nicky-hoe." She said her tone deadly and cold.
"Amanda-whore." I say putting on a fake smile as I turn around.
It's the first time I've seen her since Ryder's party. She had a couple of scratches on her face along with a black eyes though it was slightly non-visible. She had a fake smile plastered on her face. Her two minions, Haley and Ruth on either side of her. Both smirking my directions
"Oh, please." She says and laughs fakely.
"What do you want? I don't have time for your stupidness." I say crossing my arms.
"There's something I know that nobody else does." She says.
"And." I say.
"It's a secret you kept well hidden." She smirked.
"Just get to the point." I snap, curious as to what she was talking about.
"I warned you once that I would make your life a living hell and no it will happen as soon as I find the right time." She laughs evilly and turns leaving with the two idiotic bitches behind her.
I walked to the cafeteria thinking about what happened in the hallway. What could she possibly be talking about? I have no secrets that could ruin me. I doubt she knows what happens at 'home', it's not like Brayden told her, he's not the stupid. I think? I know it is something important, something that could break me. What could it possibly be? I had a feeling I wasn't going to like it and that it was happening soon. Fear clouded my mind as I thought?
Just like that, I lost my appetite. I saw the guys and sat down. They looked up from their conversation when they saw me.
"Hey Nicky." Sebastian and Logan say. I just smile weakly and nod.
"Hey Nichole." Ryder greets. I just ignore and look at nothing in particular. I hear him sigh.
"What's up with you?" Logan asked.
"It's looks like you saw a ghost." He adds.
I just stare into space blocking out sounds and movement. I see a hand being waved front of me and I snap out of my concentration.
"Are you okay?" Ryder asks.
Ignore.
"Nichole did it happen again?" Sebastian asks.
"No." I shook my head go a cure him I haven't been abused lately.
"Are you sure?" He asks.
"Yeah, it's just that...nothing, I was just thinking of something." I smile reassuringly.
