"Got it? You will attack Japan" My ex-brother calmly stated. He took a sip of his tea before looking back at me while waiting for my response. "I know but," I answered in a serious, yet somehow sad tone. "But?" I walked towards the couch near the desk of England's office, then sat down and crossed my legs. "Nothing." I covered my eyes with my right hand and placed my left elbow to rest on the arm of the couch.

'How could this be happening?'

"America, What's wrong?" England asked, still reading the paper he was holding.

I sighed "Nothing. Just...not feeling well"

"Pearl Harbor was attacked after all. This is to be expected. Anyway," England stood up and placed down his papers. He went to a small cupboard on his right, then searched for something. "Here," he threw something small to me. It was wrapped in paper. "Drink that. You'll feel better."

I unwrapped it and saw medicine, medicine for nations "Oh. Yeah, I'll drink this later," I said, still looking down. I don't really need this. It's not like I'm sick. It's much more worse.

I'm in love with Japan.

The nation that attacked me. The nation that inflicted great pain upon me. The nation that I'm going to attack.

Japan.

"Hey! America? You don't seem like yourself today. Is something bothering you? You've been spacing out lately" England asked while waving his hand up and down in front of my face, trying to get my attention. When did he get in front of me?

"Oh, was I? You must be imagining it Iggy! Hahaha!" Faking a laugh, I smiled at him and stood up. I wrapped my arm around his neck and jockingly yanked him down, "Of course I'm me! I'll always be a hero! Hahaha!"

"O-ow, cut it out wanker. You seem fine," England let out a soft chuckle. "I guess I was worried for nothing. Now, let go of me" he ordered. I let go of the Englishman. He went back to his desk and continued reading his papers while drinking tea.

"Hey Al-" England was supposed to say something but he was cut off by a knock.

"Bon Jour," A guy at the door greeted with a smile. It was France. "May I come in?" He walked in and quietly closed the door.

"You're already in Frog" England scowled, yet continued reading his papers.

"Anglaterre, grumpy az ever" France replied back with a small smile on his face. He went to England's desk and sat on the side of it.

England took a last sip of his precious tea and looked at France. "So, what brings you here France?"

"Ah, just decided zo vizit jou and America. I waz alzo bored, zo I came here to zee what jou were doing" he answered while playing with his hair.

"Sorry to tell you but there is nothing you can do here, now piss off frog."

"Oh, come on Anglaterre. I know jou missed me. I'm too good not to miss"

England raised a brow, "since when were you good at something?"

France smirked, "Cooking."

"Oh you just didn't..."

Here they go again. They really act like old married couples, bickering over the most trivial things. I sighed and walked towards the door, then grabbed the door knob. "Iggy, France, I'll just go out and chill for a while. I'll be back before dusk."

England stopped choking France by his collar, "Oh okay, don't wander off too far."

"Au revoir mon amie"

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
I was strolling around London. Sophisticated buildings, Gentlemen, and Ladies. It really is different around here. I also saw stationed soldiers everywhere. Kind'a nostalgic if you ask me. Others greeted me, while some just didn't mind.

I continued on strolling around until I ended up at an unfamilliar park. I went to a big tree and sat below to rest. I looked around and I saw children running, pigeons eating crumbs of bread, and some couples.

I sighed, "If only things were this peaceful."

Smile, America-kun. Everything is going to be alright.

I smiled at the sudden memory, "Yeah, he's right. I should smile."

Even at a time like this, I'm still thinking of Japan. When I saw him on the day he bombed me, it was like my world slowed down, my breathing got heavy and everything else disappeared. I saw the bomb dropping down, but even if I wanted to run away, I was too mesmerized to even move, or you could also say I was also scared. I was scared at the bomb and the thought that Japan... bombed me. Why did this have to happen?

"America?" I heard a male voice call out my name.

I turned to the direction I heard the voice.

"Hongkong? What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I could ask you the same" he chuckled.

"Iggy called me to discuss something. How about you? You're supposed to be in Asia right?"

"Just had to tell England something personally. I'll be back to support China"

"Oh. I heard Japan is cornering the guy"

"Yeah"

There was a pause of awkward silence.

"Uhh, dude, you and Japan grew up together right?" I asked, breaking the ice.

"Yeah. Why?"

"Was he always like this? You know, like really mysterious?"

"Hmm... At first he was. After a couple of months being together in the same roof, he opened up. The guu is actually kind. Though he isolated himself after a few years of being with us."

"Isolate?" wanting to know more details.

"Yeah. You know, he's an island and quite far from most of us. Sometimes he has his own world in his mind"

I looked down, "Oh I see..."

"Don't know what happened to him now though...he lusts for power, to an extent he would hurt a lot of nations" he stated in a sad tone with a hint of disappointment.

"I wish this war would end" I paused for a while. "So that I can...be with him" whispering the last part.

"Pardon? What did you say America?"

"Uh, I wished this war would end" I covered up.

"Ah, yes indeed" he nodded. "Why do you ask though? Is it because of that incident?" He asked me.

"Yeah" I replied.

Yeah. It was all thanks to that incident. I can't stop thinking of him. I can't control these emotions. I should hate him, despise him, yet why? Why...is it the opposite? I just can't bring myself to do it.

"America, look!" Hongkong pointed out to the horizon. "What a beautiful sunset" he added.

The sky had the colors orange, red and yellow. The clouds surrounding it made it even more beautiful. The setting sun was so clear and flocks of birds were passing by. It was yet another beautiful sunset I witnessed in my nation years. I felt a bit of warmth in my heart.

Not too long...

Because I...
