How many times can a heart afford breaking

This poem will probably be most peeps' first read in the whole series, and i would just like to acknowledge that this whole series of poem is "all rights reserved", which means that all credit goes to me so NO copying and stealing all the hardwork and effort that i have put into this poem series that you are reading right now.

The one final step I took,

out of the darkness I went.

I felt off the hook,

As I recklessly stumbled my way back to the start.

All those times drowning in happiness,

Unaware of the razors pointing right at me.

My past became haunted blurriness,

As I counted the scars in the heart of mine.

The shadows formed an unbreakable shield,

Surrounding my spongy soul.

My once elastic heart over love fields,

Is now molded with dancing trolls.

The same old tale repeats,

With the courage mending pieces of broken dreams.

Rubbing the soreness with the sudden shock repeat,

After all, how many times can a heart afford breaking?

This is a poem that came to my mind during a rainy day, which can be quite depressing because somehow i get really sad on rainy day. I tried to make the most parts of this poem rhyme and i hope you actually like it!
