Author's POV
Sani Loven was not a morning person. She loathed the mornings, be it in the week or weekends, she just wanted an eternal sleep in which she could dream happily. "Beep." "Beep." "Beep." OH WAIT. Her alarm clock.....Oh how many has she smashed over the years? But now was not the time to think about that, so rather grumpily she dragged herself out of bed.Sani didn't like many things, she hated her family, she hated sports, school, life. The list could go on for miles and miles. She did however have a small interest in drawing, and reading the occasional fanfic wasn't that bad. Sadly things like that aren't considered talents.
When she reached the closet Sani picked out her school uniform, a lovely shade of BROWN and purple. She sighed as she looked as plain as ever with her frail brown locks and pale skin, she had little to no curves and medium amounts of acne, she didn't hate her body as she didn't desire a hourglass figure or a slim build but she would admit to not minding a little more meat on her bones. While she was looking deep into the mirror she heard her mother holler that it was time for food. Once Sani was dressed and ready she slammed her bedroom door shut and slid quickly down the stairs.
Sani's POV.
I was not looking forward to having to talk to most of my family at breakfast, which concluded of my loud mouth brother Daniel and my flamboyant and posh mother Serenity. My father is a small exception, just like me he is plain, he is a goodman and we have similar-ish interests. Sometimes I wondered what he saw in my mother, them being polar opposites and all, but I didn't complain as long as I had got a roof over my head and food on my plate. Simple but understandably straightforward. I never talk about them to 'friends' and have developed a skill in short term memory loss when I want to forgot when my brother has ruined my uniform, or my mother has given an awkward pep talk. She would and could give the odd piece of 'advice' but it always consisted of mind numbingly boring questions such as, "How about you dye your hair!!" or "Change your style up some more, add pink!!" I really wished she would leave it alone (which she never did) and that just added to my list of reasons for disliking her. It was bad enough that she was forcing me to go to this pompous rich kids school, let alone change my appearance to her personal standards. I really just wanted a nice simple (boring) life, no drama, no stress but as I recall that's not how teenage years work. Oh well.I leapt into the kitchen to ram down my food and avoid conversation. Maybe I did talk to them but I already forgot.

Author's POV
Sani rushed out the door and was almost hit by the car thanks to her Mum's so called 'driving'. She wasn't truly prepared for this fresh start at all. It couldn't be that bad, making new friends and all. Well before she even had time to digest all that, her Mum screeched "Stop day-dreaming Sani we are here!!!" And with a humph Sani got out the car and started to walk off when her annoying mother stated "NO GOODBYE OR ANYTHING, GRUMPYPANTS?!?!"
Oh how she wished to punch her mum right now, but she stayed composed and with the most monotonous voice known to man said - "Bye, see you later."And that is how she started her day off, pissed off and bored. Oh so bored.
