Ella POV:

Chapter 19:

"Athena, are you okay?" I say.

"Yea I'm fine, why?" She asks.

"You just seem a little off, and you've been kinda moody." I say.

"I'm fine, actually I can't remember the last time I felt this good." She says.

"You sure." I say and She nods her head.

"Can I get the remote?" She says.

"Why?" I ask.

"Because, I want to change the channel." She says.

"I'm watching it." I say.

"Why, it's so boring." She says.

"It's talking about the death of two teens that went to our school." I say looking at her raising my eyebrow.

She's not serious.

"So, I didn't know them." She says taking the remote out of my hand.

"Wow." I say.

"What." She says looking at a text on her phone and replying.

"Heartless much." I say and she rolls her eyes.

"I'm gonna go meet up with Lucas." She says getting up.

"Why are you always hanging out with him now." I say to her as she walks towards the front door.

"Because he doesn't judge everything I say and do. "She says as the guys walk in.

"Don't wait up." She says grabbing her car keys and walking past them.

"What was that about." Elliot says pointing at her.

"I don't know." I say.

"Where is she going." Mason says looking at the door.

"Where do you think." I say and I see a mix of anger and defeat in his face. I forgot that he's her mate.

"Sorry." I say and he just shrugs his shoulders.

Athena POV:

"Right, they are always having a problem with the things I say. It's not my fault that everyone is so sensitive." I say.

"That's why I don't talk to them. If you don't fit to their standards they have a problem with you. That's why I was surprised you were friends with them." Lucas says.

"I don't know why you let me be friends with them."I say.

"Because you were too blind to see them for who they are. You had to figure it out yourself." He says.

"I would have rather you told me though." I say.

"And have you upset with me, I think not." He says and I laugh.

"Athena, what's up with you and your friends. "Alexander says.

"What friends. "I say.

"The ones that you use to hang out with all the time but don't even talk to anymore. "He says.

"Oh them." I say.

"Yea, what happened." He says.

"Long story short, I realized who my real friends are." I say.

"But, Ella is your oath keeper." He says.

"I know what she is." I say to him.

"Your oath keeper is basically like, well you. Theres no way in hell that you and your oath keeper shouldn't get along. Besides minor arguments." He says and I suck my teeth.

"Look, all I'm saying is that you should talk to them. Ella at least." He says.

"Fine, whatever." I say as I hear the sound of lound engines.

We turn our heads to see two people on motorcycles. When they take of their helmets I see that they are twins. One is a boy and the other is a girl.

"Whose that." I say to Alexander.

"I don't know, never seen them before." He says.

"Oh." I say as they past by and look at me.

But the way they looked at me was as if they new me. I know for a fact that I don't though. I would have remembered their faces.

Ella POV:

"We need to figure out whats up with her." Iah says.

"I'm done trying. I've been trying for weeks and she hasn't said anything. I gave up two weeks ago and you guys know that."I say.

"If you gave up as her friend keep trying as her oath keeper." Mason says.

"How about you give it ago, you are her mate after all." I say.

"But you and I know I have no affect until she's seventeen." He says.

"And whose fault is that. I bet Lucas has an affect on her." I say and he glares at me. "Sorry that was uncalled for."

"Ya think." Mason says about to get up when two people walk up to our table.

"Can you guys stop with the arguing, the balance in this dimension is already fucked up enough." The girl says.

"Who are you exactly?" Tim says.

"Excuse my sister, she tends to not watch what she says." The guy says.

"Names." Elliot says.

"My names Keith and this is my twin sister Kalissa." He says.

"Hi." She says.

"And we were sent here to help you guys out with Athena." He says.

"We got everything covered thanks." I say.

"Then why is Athena sitting all the way over there with them instead of with you guys." Kalissa says and I glare at her.

"You guys were suppose to steer her in the right direction but she's starting to go a little to the left causing a shift in the balance." Keith says.

"Who are you exactly?" Iah asks.

"We are part of an ancient race. We are like mythical creatures to mythical creatures such as yourselves."Keith says.

"Our race has been around centuries before the Earth was even thought of and will be around centuries after." Kalissa says.

"How do you know?" I ask.

"It was foreseen. You guys have heard about The Clear right." Kalissa says.

"My mother told me stories about them when I was younger." Mason says.

"Yea, my mother said that they have the ability to control the elements." Elliot says.

"And my dad said that they have the power to see the future and the past." I say.

"That's some of the things that we can do." Kalissa says.

"How about we talk about this after school in a more private place." Elliot says.

"Yea, let's all go to Iah's place after school." I say.

"Yep, just invite everyone to my house Ella." Iah says.

"What." I say a confused and he just shakes his head.
