Part Two: Heroes And Villains

Chapter Nine: Changes

Two years has passed by.... Yet it feels as if the war with Stryker and his army was just yesterday, I still bare the scar that he gave me. After that fight, everyone on the team just kinda split up and we went our separate ways... Wade and I went to live in a city just a thousand miles from our old base.... Pyro went rogue, honestly we don't know where he went. As for Eclipse, Sashizm, and Krystal, they have decided to stay at the Fireblade Base and well, whatever type of person comes to them, and they are gifted with powers, they will train to become a new hero... Mainly they have found kids that were forced to be in Crimson's armada.

Wade and I are walking down the street; Wade looks at me and asks. "So how's that new arm treating you, Zahara?" I shrug and say. "Eh... Don't get me wrong it is way better than my old human arm.... But it just feels different, I got to get use to it." Wade then says. "That's understandable... Also when do you think we should go and visit Sashizm and Krystal? We haven't seen those two in a few months..." I look at you and I smile, and say. "Well we could go see them soon. What worries me is that Sashizm can't find Pyro anywhere on Earth. I fear that either he has gone completely rogue and we won't be able to find him or Pyro found one of Crimson's armada ships and repaired it and he flew away from Earth and doesn't know how to get back..." Wade wraps his arm around me and he says. "Well at least I got you." I blush, we continue to walk down the street and eventually make it to our apartment.

Once we get inside our home, we put up all the groceries and we sit down in the living room and turn on the T.V. we watch a few movies before I start to cook dinner for the two of us. As I am cooking, someone knocks on the door, Wade answers the door and he brings the guest inside... It was another CIA agent, Wade shows the agent a chair and he sits down, Wade joins him. I put the Meatloaf inside the oven and I join the two as they are talking. The CIA agent watches me as I sit down, he then looks to Wade, and he says. "Sorry to be a burden... I am agent Erik and I just need to talk to you two about what happened two years ago... Is that fine?" I nod my head and I say. "Ask away, we will tell you everything..." Erik nods his head and he asks. "Do you think that Stryker's army or anyone connected to Stryker will ever come and attack Earth again?" I shake my head, while saying. "No there is no way that they could ever possibly come back... Their army abandoned them after they died..." Erik writes down everything I say in a notepad, he then asks. "Ok, so who are all the people that survived this war? We must know, just to keep an eye on everyone." I clutch my fists together as I ask. "What do you mean by keeping an eye on us?" Erik gets nervous as he says. "Well... We just need to make sure that you and your friends won't try and destroy the planet..." I slam my fists on the table and I stare at Erik intensely as I say. "Get out of our house!" I point at the door, Erik has no clue what he did yet he feels that he has messed up, he gets up and leaves the apartment. Wade pats me on the back as Erik leaves and Wade says. "It'll be ok... Let's go and see Eclipse, Sashizm, and Krystal and just relax for a day okay?" I nod my head and we both eat out dinner and begin to pack our clothes. The next day we head out for the old Fireblade Base.

It takes us merely a day to make it back to the Fireblade Base, where Sashizm is. Sashizm greets us at the entrance of the base and she lets us unpack in our rooms, once we get done unpacking we meet her in the dining hall, where we eat lunch together. As Sashizm gulps down a bowl of soup, she asks. "So why did you guys decide to come over and visit?" I look down and Wade looks at Sashizm and says. "Well, because two years ago on this day, was the day Zahara saw here father in forever..." Sashizm pauses before saying something, a dead silence comes upon us until Krystal walks into the room and she sits down with us. I decide to change the subject, I ask Sashizm and Krystal. "Hey, have you guys been able to find Pyro?" Krystal mumbles under her breath. "Not like he wants to find us...." I notice her mumbling under her breath and I smile as I say. "So Krystal... Before Pyro left, were you guys getting intimate?" Krystal blushes, yet she gets a bit angrier and says. "No! Him and I were barely friends..." I roll my eyes, as I know that she likes him, I then ask Sashizm. "So what do you think we should do next? I mean yes it has been two years since that big fight happened... But I feel as if there is something else that needs to be done, you know? Like something that we need to do, but hell like I know..." Sashizm shrugs and says. "I don't know... I sure wish Pyro was here though, we need to have that stupid ass around..." Eclipse swings the door open, grabs some food and walks out, slamming the door behind her. I watch her and I ask. "What's wrong with her?" Krystal sighs as she says. "She is just angry... Ever since Pyro left, she has been focused on finding him, yet she has had no success... She feels as if it was her fault, she goes outside day in and day out, just training herself to the absolute limits of her powers... Believing Pyro would come back if he thought she was a challenge to him, which honestly she could beat him." I nod my head in agreement; I look at the door once more as I say. "I'll be back you guys... Just gonna check in on her." I stand up and walk away, trying to find Eclipse.
