Chapter Fifteen

Y/N POV

I can't believe it's already Thursday. I'm now 17 years old, to be honest it's pretty scary. I got up, went into the kitchen and started making breakfast. I decided to make pancakes and while I was cooking Lucy came out of her room and yelled "happy birthday y/n!" "thanks". Me and Lucy ate our pancakes and started walking to her guild.

Time skip to the guild

We entered the guild and everybody yelled "HAPPY BIRTHDAY Y/N!" "hey everyone". While everyone was having a party I went and sat at the bar where Mira was. "happy birthday y/n" "thanks" "so how does it feel being 17?" "it's a little scary." "so you doing anything special for your birthday?" "umm yeah actually." "really what you doing?" "I'm to dinner with gray." "oh well you better wear something nice, like a dress." "Mira you know I'm not a big fan of dresses." "come on just for tonight." "ugh, fine if you say so." I walked out of the guild so I good buy something nice for tonight, on my way to the store I saw Wendy. "hey Wendy" "good morning y/n, and happy birthday" she said with a smile. "hey Wendy you want to come with me?" "yeah. Where we going?" "we're going to find me something nice for me to wear tonight." "ok, and what are you doing tonight?" "I'm going on a date." when me and Wendy got to the store we started to look around, until Wendy found a dress that I actually liked. It was a (f/c) dress that went just above the knees, it had sleeves that went a little past my elbows. I bought it then we started walking back to Lucy's apartment. "hey y/n, if you don't mind me asking, who are you going on a date with?" asked Wendy "someone I love" I replied "please tell me y/n. I promise I won't  tell anybody" I looked around and made sure no one was around. "it's gray" I whispered. She didn't say anything after that. "you better not tell anybody" I told her. We dropped off my dress and I grabbed my book then  we walked back to the guild.

Time skip to the guild

We entered the guild and nothing really happened, we just did the usual, Wendy went and sat down and I went to the bar. "ok Mira I got a dress, you happy?" "yep I bet you'll look beautiful in it." "thanks" "hey shouldn't you go get ready?" I looked at the clock it was only 6:30 "ehh I'll go get ready at like 7:00 or something". I was sitting there reading the book "magic in music " I read the first page and it said

"The spells in this book are used for entertaining purposes. They're are very little known wizards who use this magic in combat. Beware, if you try to play a full song in combat, there's a good chance you'll get injured or die."

After I read that skipped the pages till I got to the crystallize spell. I was having fun reading until I heard natsu and gray fighting in the background. I turned around and gray was just in his boxers and cana yelled "gray your clothes!" I couldn't help but laugh.

Time skip to Lucy's apartment

I was getting ready to leave Lucy's apartment. I put on that dress that Wendy helped me pick, with some heels (or any type of shoes it doesn't matter you could even be wearing converse), I brushed my hair and put up in (whatever hair style), and still refuses to go through the time and struggle with makeup. After that I started walking to (favorite restaurant) where me and gray would meet.

Another time skip to (favorite restaurant)

I waited for gray and it was only 7:58 so he had two minutes. A minute passed then gray showed up "hey y/n. I like your dress" he said while blushing a little bit " thank you" we went in and ate while we just talked. After we were done we decided to go on a walk. "so y/n can you tell me a little bit about your self?" "umm ok. What do you want to know?" "what was your dragons name? The one that taught you dragon slaying magic." "her name was Erica" "cool. So what's your favorite food?" "I like anything as long as it's food." he continued to ask these questions until we decided to call it a night. "hey umm y/n." "yeah gray" "you want to stay at my place tonight?" " yeah sure". On our way to Gray's house I started getting tired, gray must've noticed because he said " hey y/n want to get on my back?" I nodded my while gray picked me up and put me on his back. After he picked me up I gently kiss his cheek and he started to blush. I slowly drifted off to sleep.

Gray's POV

When we finally arrived at my house y/n was still sleeping on my back so I gently laid her on my couch and covered up with a blanket. I went into my room and laid on my bed. I was almost asleep until I heard my door creak open, I didn't mind until I heard my bed go creak. Before I could even look I felt arms wrap around my waist. I looked over my shoulder and it was y/n. "y/n". But she was already asleep. So I slowly drifted off to sleep while y/n still had her arms wrapped around me.
