Another Fight

Chapter Nine

I watch as everyone walks out of the Great Hall from detention and run to the fifth floor. Draco is by himself. He lied to me.

"You asshole," I shout, hitting his chest over and over again, trying not to cry. "I should have been there."

"No," he calmly says as he grabs my wrists. "I did want to hear you sing. I just chose that moment because Umbridge is looking for any excuse to expell you."

I pull away and take off the ring, throwing it at his face. He opens his mouth to speak, but I turn around and just head to the pavilion. I find my twin and head over to her.

"I'm sorry I wasn't there," I tell them as I grab Ginny's hand to see words scrawled into her hand.

"Don't be," she smiles. Only Ginny would smile after detention. We walk off to head to our dorms.

I watch the clock tick down as time slowly runs out. I already finished my Charms exam and I'm bored. The questions were basic first year spells. The fun part is usually where you actually preform the spell. But that is not until after lunch. In front of us is the pink toad sitting there like she is all high and mighty. A loud noise goes off outside to closed doors. Umbridge stalks down the rows and open them up.

A small firecracker flies in, but quickly dies out. Soon more come flying in and chaos eruptes. The twins fly in and drop another that forms a humongous dragon head. It chases Umbridge out of the Great Hall. I run out with all the other students. Everyone is chearing in joy. I smile and laugh as the boys set off more fireworks. People are having fun and just being theirself. Someone grabs my wrist and I look to see my twin.

"We have to go," she informs me. "Harry might be in danger."

I join her, Neville, and Luna as we head in. Only to be stopped by Draco and his friends.

"Move," I growl.

"No can do," he informs me. "You four have to be turned in unless you turn around now."

I just snort and push him out of my way. He grabs my wrist and I turn to look at his gorgeous grey eyes.

"Let me go, Draco."

"I'm trying to protect you," he states. I pull away, forcing the boys' hand. They force us to Umbridge's office. The pink toad is there with the trio.

"Let them go," Ron snaps when he sees the group enter.

"Hush," Umbridge snaps. Snape enters and the two professors talk.

"When I say so," I Draco whisper in my ear. "Sing high c. I'll help the others."

"That's illegal," Hermione shrieks.

"What Fudge doesn't know won't hurt him," the pink toad smirks as she lays a picture down."

She raises her wand and starts an unforgivable curse.

"Tell her Harry," Hermione cries, stopping the professor. "Tell her Harry, or I will?"

The genius convinces Umbridge to follow her and Harry.

"Now," I hear. I sing a high c and all the glass shatters and all Slytherin, but Draco, fall to the ground. We all start running out.

"Go help Harry," I tell them. "I got stuff to do here."

They nod their heads and I run to the owlry with Draco. I quickly write a letter to the minister and send an owl with the letter.

"What now?" Draco asks. "We might to be able to catch up witht the..."

I cut him off by pressing my lips against his. I don't even know what came over me. His arm goes around my waist and he deepens the kiss, causing me to lean back a bit. It is a good five minutes before we pull away.

"Let's officially set the school free," Draco smiles.
