oh Yes am African and am not proud, I have been forced to learn English language and it is a good thing but there are a couple of things I do not understand so here goes;
Firstly why do we have same words but with different meaning???
For example second? Time in seconds and second as in he was in second place? What happened there?y'all ran out of imagination???
Secondly, why do Americans have to have their own English? Hehe why didn't you force them like you did to us?
Thirdly, why did we let that man "Shakespeare " create so many words? I mean what's so hard about imagining letters?
Oh and why do we have expressions like "oh","woah woah"?I mean if sounds are now words,why don't just as well adopt monkey noises?hehe I mean we could have a bigger vocabulary or dictionary if you know what I mean.
And lastly why do you "white people" confuse us with words that sound exactly the same but differ in spelling?why say later?latter? Letter? Same pronunciation but different spelling, why??why not find another word?hehe you hear people saying "I don't know whether the weather will clear"hehe come on you guys are killing us... you didn't bring these things with manual book!
