San Lorenzo Field Trip

"We're going to die in this ditch and it's all because of you Football Head!" said Helga, covered in dirt and furious, sitting a few feet away from Arnold.

"It is not my fault. I- I just don't get it: why do you hate me so much?!" said Arnold, covered in dirt as well.

"Oh I don't know, Exhibit A." She motioned her arm at herself and Arnold and the place they're at. "That's why I hate you."

"You didn't on the top of the FTi building." he says.

Helga's face turns red as a tomato. She remembers how she confessed her love to Arnold and how she builds legit shrines of him. She mostly remembered the part of when they had the kiss.

"WELL, UH, THAT WAS JUST A THING THAT CAME OVER ME." Helga's heart beats.

"You're kidding me right? Helga, you literally told me on how-"

"IT WAS JUST A THING, GET OVER IT." Frustrated yet in her mind, she knows it's a lie. "Well, believe it or not," Arnold says, blushing, scooting an inch closer to her, "I kind of like you."

Helga's eyes widen. "You like me? Like, like me-like me?"

"Maybe." He scoots closer and closer to her. Helga blushes. "Well I still hate you because we're stuck here. Like-"

"Shhh." Arnold said. He bites his lip while his eyes focuses on her scarred lips. He leans it slowly and Helga tries to resist saying "Arnold I-", but she couldn't. Their lips touch. Arnold puts his hand on her face, Helga's heart is racing. "Is this real life?", she says to herself. But then...
...

15 seconds later...

..."Mmm, mm-mm." A familiar voice peeps out of no where. Arnold and Helga stops and looks above. It was Gerald, shaking his head in shock and curiosity, yet with criticism. "GERALD!" They both shout. "Hahah, not what it looks like." Arnold said, dying of embarrassment.

"Whatever you say." He turned around. "FOUND THEM MR. SIMMONS!"

Its now 2017, Arnold never forgot the kiss they shared.

Arnold walks in front of his door. He thinks about the kiss and wishes to see Helga again but can't find a way how to. He can't just send a message on Facebook or like her pictures on Instagram. Not after silence between them since graduating from high school.

Then he noticed mail on his doormat. Its from P.S. 118. They're holding a reunion on a Friday night. This is where they would reunite again.
