Beep beep beep...

Oh stupid alarm you just had to ruin my perfect dream. And now I must fight the true nightmare, school.

My curly brown hair is sticking to my neck. I was sweating, gross probably because since it it mid October we have been keeping the heater on instead of the air conditioner.

I head to the bathroom to take a shower. There is no way I am going to school smelling like sweat or feeling gross. Luckily Jace isn't in the bathroom so I don't have to wait for him to get out.

I turn off the water and climb out of the shower. That was really refreshing. This is just perfect I forgot to bring my clothes in the bathroom with me. I grab a towel and wrap it carefully around me. Cracking the door open to see, only my head is sticking out as I scan the hallway. To my relief there is no one out there, so what do I do? I dash to my bedroom before anyone has a chance to come prancing out of their bedroom.

I walk over to my closet and slip on a blue v-neck with some skinny jeans. Last but not least I put on a pair of black vans. I decide to put on my black zip up Hollister jacket that Sandra had gotten for me for Christmas. If you can tell I'm not very girly when it comes to my clothes. I try to stay low key.

I just realized I forgot to brush my teeth. Why am I so forgetful this morning?

The bathroom door is closed so I'm guessing Jace is in there. I'll just wait for him to get out. I started to shuffle back to my room but the bathroom door opened before I had a chance to. Jace looked at me in confuse meant.

"Did you forget to put on makeup?" He smirks. He thinks he is so funny.

"Nice try, you and I both know I don't wear makeup." I push past him to get into the bathroom.

He turns around to face me. "Good, you look better without it." After he said that he made his way down the hallway. Once he reached the end he glanced back at me. "Hurry, so we can leave," he said. Then continued his journey to the living room. Well I'm guessing that's where he is going.

----

"Are you ever going to tell me where you are taking me?" I mutter.

"You will just have to wait and see." Jace says. His eyes stay focused on the road.

This was driving me crazy. Why won't he tell me where we are going? Like he said I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

We pull into the drive way of a two story house with brick exterior. Jace turns off the ignition and pulls the key out.

"Where are we?" I ask confused.

"This is my house. This is what were going to do tonight. Don't ask any more questions just come on."

"Okay" I mutter. I follow him into the house. I must say it's bigger than I expected. It's weird that I have never been here considering that our parents have been friends for a long time.

"Welcome to my home." Jace opens the door and expands his arms to his sides like in the movies. Sometimes he could be so dramatic.
