“I can’t believe I’m really here,” I said to myself. Here I am standing in front of yogtowers. I pull myself together and enter the building. ‘Is this really happening?’ I think as i walked up to the front desk. “Hi my name is Rebecca Henry, It’s my first day, would you mind telling me witch floor the yogscast is located at?” the receptionist looked through some papers on her desk, “Oh yes Ms. Henry, they’ve been expecting you, second floor.” “Thank you,” I say before heading up the stairs to the second floor. ‘How did this happen?’ i think as my hand reaches for the door knob. Hesitantly, i open the door and step into the hallway, trying to take everything in. ‘I’ve seen the office in videos but it’s nothing like seeing it in person, I can’t believe I’m going to be working here!’ I think to myself as i start down the hall, lost in thoughts of excitement. Suddenly out of nowhere a door opens in front of me without me realizing as i keep walking. *Bam* Right into the door. Before I can process what just happened I se a hand extended, offering to help me up, that belonged to none other than Martyn Littlewood. “Th-Thanks” I say freaking out inside. “Should probably watch where your going next time,” he said in a jokingly manner. “yeah, kinda zoned for a minute there. Im Rebecca, aka BeccaBabe21, I’m the new member if the yogscast.” “oh, so your Rebecca, well in that case welcome to the family!” he said excitedly, “I’m Martyn, aka Inthelittlewood.” he said introducing himself. “Yes I know, its an honor to meet you. I’m a huge fan, of all of you really. I just cant believe I’m really here” “yeah I know, felt the same way when I first got here. I’ll take it your looking for Lewis’s office?” he asked. “yes, I am actually, mind pointing me in the right direction?” I respond. “Sure, right down that hall, third door to your left.” “Thanks,” I say as i head down the hall and count out the third office on the left. I take a deep breath as i enter Lewis’s office. “He-hello, Lewis? I’m Rebecca, Rebecca Henry. A.K.A. BeccaBabe21” I say as calmly as I can given i am completely fangirling inside given sitting right in front of me is Lewis Brindley, co-founder of the yogscast, and my new boss. “Oh Rebecca! We’ve been expecting you, were happy to welcome you to the yogscast family. Come! Follow me, I’ll show you around, show you your new office and introduce you to everyone.” He said as he stood up and started down the hall. “Ignore the humongous amount of mail scattered about, its mostly Martyn’s” I can’t help but let out a small laugh. As we turn the corner there he is. “Speaking of the devil, Martyn, This is Rebecca. Rebecca, Martyn.” “oh, yeah we met a little earlier, she had a bit of a run in with my door. Sorry bout that by the way.” He said laughing slightly. “No problem, it was my fault really. I got kinda lost in thought for a minute. Flying to Bristol, moving into a flat, working here! It a lot to take in in three days.” I say letting out a small sigh. “Yeah I know. But like I said before, Welcome to the family. Were glad to have you.” Martyn said before heading back into his office. Before we go any further I heard two loud screams come from the office two doors down. “Just ignore that, its Hannah and Simon recording a horror game. It gets quite noisy here between the screaming and those bloody seagulls.” Lewis said laughing a little. He introduces me to everyone, although I already know everyone of there names, voice, surnames, and avatars by heart. After he finishes showing me around he leads me to a empty office near the end of the hall. “And lastly, your office,” he said showing me to the room. “Its got most of the essentials, and the rest is for you to decide. You fully start tomorrow, you can set up the rest of your equipment then. But for now feel free to have a look around and get to know everyone better, jut try not to get in the way to much. And if you have any questions feel free to ask.” He said waiting for a response before he left. “Sure, and thanks. For everything, the office, the job, flying me out here. Just, thank you.” I reply. “No problem were happy to have you aboard,” he said as he headed down the hall to his office. For a minute I just stand there, trying to register everything that just happened, and has happened so far in this journey. After I do that, I take a look around the office, seeing what’s there and what’s not. I brought most of my recording equipment with me when I moved, but not all of it. And it seemed everything I didn’t bring, was here. I pull out a pen and pad from my purse and write down all the things that were already there, so I know what to bring in and what not to.
